Normally I visit the lounge quite often but i’ve not been there in a while so today me and my two sisters decided to go get some late lunch. We were welcomed in by a lovely employee who we have often seen before and we sat down. We ordered food alongside some drinks. Whilst the drinks were being served, the glass slipped out of the servers hand and all on to me, I was just sat there in shock as the whole drink was literally on me even the ice cubes. They rushed off to grab some blue roll to wipe down the table, whilst I got up to shake the drink including the ice cubes that were on me. Server then noticed and only then did she get me a towel to wipe myself. She was very apologetic then offered us to move to another table which we did as I wasn’t going to be sat in the puddle of drink. We moved to a table behind us and after a bit a new set of drinks came over. Then a male server came over to us probably having heard that a drink got spilled and apologised and offered me a free side I politely declined as how is that going to help with me being drenched through. After a while the food came over both my sisters had their food served whilst I just had my side delivered. Whilst they’re enjoying their food I’m still sat there drenched waiting for my food to come over, about 10 minutes go past and nothing has come. Also normally a server will come and ask if everything’s ok with the food and no one did.My sister turns around and she can see that there’s a plate that’s looks like what I ordered in the heated section waiting to go out. By this time i’m already fuming having sat there with wet clothes and sandals I tell her to get me a refund on the rest of the food that hasn’t come out. She goes up to the counter to enquire about why the food hasn’t come out yet, server says that I mistakenly put down wrong table number that’s why the food is sat there as they didn’t know what table. How did my side dish manage to come to the right table then and not my main meal? Got refunded the side and drink that I paid for with the main meal being taken off the bill. The lady sorting out the refund with my sister offered to have it packed up which my sister then agreed to given that I only had eaten a small side.

Read moreBeen in a few times now but this time I thought I'd try the food. I ordered a Philly Cheese Ciabatta.
When it arrived I took a few bits and thought something wasn't quite right.
The bread and cheese was piping hot, all good there The problem is, the high risk part of this dish was stone cold, warmed slightly on the edges by the hot bread and cheese, but the meat was cold. I don't mean it wasn't heated enough, it was literally cold to the touch.
When I noticed this, I brought it to the attention of the waiting staff who swapped it out for one that had actually been heated and it was fine.
Unfortunately the few bites I had of the original Dish were enough to make me ill later that night spoiling my weekend plans.
I sent my feedback via the online form that was automatically sent out and I got a response from a manager It basically said, we're so sorry that your food wasn't up to par, we apologise for making you ill and thanks for your feedback.
Not really a resolution I was looking for after paying a tenner for food poisoning and a...
