I had an amazing meal at Wimpy Rayleigh and couldn’t be more impressed! From the moment I walked in, the staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The service was quick, attentive, and full of positive energy.

The food was fantastic — cooked to perfection and exactly what you’d hope for from a classic Wimpy. My burger was juicy and full of flavour, the chips were crispy and golden, and the milkshake was thick and delicious. Everything came out hot and fresh, and the portions were generous too.

The place was spotless, with a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere — perfect for families or a casual meal out.

I ordered via deliveroo and two items were missing, a fruit shoot and an ice cream sundae. Our order came to just over £46 for two adult meals and two kids meals. I phoned up to ask about the missing drink and ice cream sundae to be told they are unable to refund any money for this. They were closing so couldn’t send another order out. I am disgusted that after spending a large amount of money no refund was offered. Also the other child’s ice cream sundae was not a Sunday just a really small amount of ice cream put in a small paper cup. It didn’t even reach half way. This is not an ice cream sundae it’s a rip off especially as we were missing two items. I’m not happy at all with the service especially the customer service on the phone. They couldn’t...

A random visit to the Wimpey in Rayleigh with my 89 year old mum was a wise move and her first visit ever to Wimpey ..She had the fish and chips and loved it and I had the double quarter pounder with cheese and chips ! It was such a lovely surprise when our meal turned up hot fresh and looking exactly like the picture on the menu from which we had chosen.. the staff were friendly and efficient and the food cooked to perfection .. the restaurant was immaculately clean and welcoming..
