I recently visited Quayside Kitchen and had the pleasure of trying their prawn mayo sandwich, and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight! The sandwich was generously stuffed with plump, juicy prawns mixed in a creamy mayo that was perfectly seasoned. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and the freshness of the ingredients truly stood out.
What made my experience even better was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly smiles and attentive service that made me feel right at home. It’s clear that they take pride in providing excellent customer service.
The portion sizes were impressively big, ensuring that you definitely get your money's worth. I left feeling completely satisfied and full!
To top it off, the coffee and drinks were equally fantastic. The coffee was rich and aromatic, making it the perfect complement to my meal. I also tried one of their specialty drinks, which was refreshing and delicious!
Overall, I highly recommend Quayside Kitchen for anyone looking to enjoy a tasty prawn mayo sandwich in a cozy environment with exceptional service. I can’t wait to return for another...
Read moreNot impressed, chose ham and cheese ploughman's, not cheap at all, when it came I was dissapointed.. 2 small cherry tomatoes, my husband got 4, so it's inconsistent. It came on a nice board, I got 2 small tomatoes, a pot of pickle, thin slice of ham, the cheapest mild Cheddar you can buy, it was oily in and too much of it, because it tasted like rubber, a few grapes, were not fresh, but too soft, slice of brie and butter that had melted before we could use it and although the 2 bits of bread were OK but dry.. And a small pork pie. A good ploughman's doesn't need to cost much to make half the amount of cheese that is a good mature flavour would have been so much better.. French stick would be nicer. It looked pretty but didn't taste pretty.. Shame really, at over £20 you expect...
Read moreWe checked the menu before we sat down as my husband is vegan. The menu advertised a beyond burger so we thought great he can eat here. It was around £11 but that's what you expect to pay for beyond, they're not a cheap brand. However, when the food came out it was just breaded vegetable mush in a bun. When this was questioned we were told 'it's a veggie burger' I explained that on the menu it's advertised as a beyond burger and even showed them but was met with 'well that's the only one we do'. We couldn't be bothered with an argument and were hungry but this is false advertising.
It's a shame because it's a sweet looking place and the other food was fine but we won't return. I'd suggest other veggies/vegans find somewhere...
