Nando’s is supposed to be this amazing CHICKEN restaurant that specialises in ...CHICKEN! (Obviously!) Me and my friends USED TO ( not sure we’ll be going back after the experience and treatment we’ve had) go to Nando’s often as yes, they can be good and at reasonable price. But my last visit was as far from good as it can get! On Saturday both my friend and I order 1/4 chicken (medium) and they both were VERY DRY! So when asked ...ASKED (!!!) by a guy named Connor in the Rugby restaurant how it was, we simply answered ‘if we’re honest, it was a bit dry’ To which he replied ‘should have put more sauce on it’ Now... four issues I have with his response to my feedback Don’t ask for a feedback if you don’t want to hear it! If you have a restaurant that serves mainly chicken, wouldn’t you make sure that the chicken isn’t the worst part of the meal? Correct me if I’m wrong, but I pay for the chicken not to be dry, not for me to have to smother it in sauces to make it remotely edible If you ask for a feedback, the feedback is then negative, would you not apologise for the food not being up to high standards or at least not be really mean? Instead of just walking away...
Always a great feeling to spend the little money you have on treating yourself to a meal out not only to be disappointed but also to be made to feel really bad about feeling disappointed. Nando’s Rugby knows how to make a costumer feel really ‘special’ I would not...
Read moreDISAPPOINTED ...... Very much frustrated on what happened in nandos today . I was an regular customer in nandos . I have been there multiple times and also to nottingham nandos. But this time they treated very differently . There were space but asked us to wait for some time. Again when I ordered for 5 quater chickens it came very dry and was not good at all. When I complained the first person he said it will be like this and its infused inside . I am not a first time eater or someone who just say yes and ok . I have been there multiple times I do know how it tastes like. And again complained next level . They took it and gave back after sometime. That was the same chicken that I gave back which was made heated and poured the sauce. I am just admiring are you making or thinking us fool or treating differently whatever is given to people who are new they don say anythingand shut their mouth and eat? We are not getting them free or gettkng from their pocket . paying money and we need the quality of food.
Highly frustrated .. I recommended my parents who came from india to here for a visit but it was highly disappointing and felt bad for recommending.
Don't even want to give 1 rating ..no other go . Very very very worst experience which was never expected . Totally...
Read moreWe weren’t sure they were open for dine in (they are) so called ahead for take away. In any case with the whole COVID situation, decided it was better to avoid exposure anyway and home will be safer.
It was 45 minutes till pick up. We were driving down from Coventry. Turns out we were 10 minutes early, so walked around the Elliot’s Field shops, till our pick up time. Well, turns out they were running behind. That added another 15 minutes. They apologized, and we understand how it is, because the dining hall was also full and there were people waiting. So plan ahead.
Now to the food. Excellent. We have two Peri Peri sauce bottles at home, so used those. Family ordered a chicken and two sets of fries. Being vegetarian, I can’t speak about the chicken, but fries were okay, and still warm when we got home. The chicken was great according to the chicken eaters, even the fussy one. It was succulent and perfectly done.
For me, the plain fries were too plain, and the seasoned fries were above average but not excellent. Could be palate preferences.
Overall, family thinks Nondo’s is great. I believe the rice...
