We often visit this place with my wife, and it’s always a real pleasure. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff are friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious and always fresh. It’s truly one of our favourite spots in Nottingham.
The only thing that makes us a bit sad is that the café has stopped accepting cash payments. I believe that limits a certain freedom we all have. Cash is, in many ways, a symbol of our independence and free choice. A place with such a wonderful culture and character should remain independent in every sense.
Paying with cash is not a crime – it should simply remain an option.
