The Big Bamboo Lite — Restaurant in Rushcliffe

So as you can see the food is good, but what happened to us last night was unbelievable. We ordered food in the morning to be delivered at 8.30pm to 9.00pm via Uber as they gave us a leaflet for Uber with a code. We have used this take away over 20 times and usually spend between £50 to £70. So we are awaiting our delivery and its now 9.15pm and its not here and we do understand its busy, so at about 9.20 we rang them and they said we have cancelled your order as we are too busy. In our reply WHAT you have our phone number so why did you not inform us? All we got was excuses that they are understaffed and it's too busy, so us ordering in the morning and being a regular customer had no influence. We now had to start cooking something for our guests at 10pm. WE WILL NEVER EVER USE THEM AGAIN. Would just like to say a big thank you for...

I have now ordered from here 3 times, and it is just amazing! If you have read any of my other reviews, I have a ceoliac wife, which means easy takeaway isn't on the menu for us. The Big Bamboo provides plenty of gluten-free options, and my wife says she loves them!

I had my 29th recently, where I invited my family around for takeaway. My niece and nephew are both gluten intolerant, and they were able to enjoy this with my wife, which was lovely to see! My whole family was delighted with the food, giving comments like "I don't usually like Chinese food from other places, but this is beautiful." Accurately describing their food.

The lady behind their desk is a beautiful soul, letting me know she took extra care with the gluten-free orders and even provided a few gluten-free snacks for us.

10/10 all around!

First time eating here, my partner and I ordered a combo for 2 takeaway. Wasn't impressed with the overall taste of the food. Beef in black bean garlic sauce tasted nothing like black bean and no garlic with a strange aftertaste. The ribs were meant to be in a BBQ sauce but had next to no flavour and the sauce was like jelly?? Egg fried rice was dry and bland. Chicken and mushroom was okay at best. The nicest things were the chicken balls and prawn crackers. Not much flavour or seasoning overall. Didn't feel too well after eating either.
