I love this place and come here every weekend; however, the service has been very disappointing recently.
On the 15th of October, I ordered a latte with soya milk, and my friend ordered a coffee. We sat and waited for around 15-20 minutes, and then I decided to go and remind the staff as they had forgotten our drinks. The soya latte was absolutely disgusting, which was made wrong. An elderly lady was very nice and offered us a free drink for our next visit.
On the 22nd of October, I was charged for soya milk even though it was supposed to be free. I only realized this when I got home.
On the 29th of October, I bought a latte and a latte with soya milk, but I was charged for the soya milk again. A new staff member was not aware that soya milk is supposed to be free, despite having worked there for the last two weeks.
On the 5th of November, I ordered tea, but after waiting for 15 minutes, I still hadn't received any tea. When I reminded the staff about my tea, they came to me after 5 minutes, saying that they didn't have the tea I wanted.

Read more☕✨ Kith and Kin is a little sanctuary in Salford — the kind of place that quietly becomes part of your week. The coffee is excellent (strong, smooth, always spot-on) and the cakes are a thing of joy 🍰💫 — generous, homemade, and dangerously moreish.
🛍️ The gift shop is full of lovely surprises — quirky prints, cards, and thoughtful little bits you won’t find on the high street. It’s the kind of place where you pop in for a coffee and leave with a print you didn’t know you needed.
🌿 The atmosphere is relaxed, stylish, and friendly without trying too hard. And the staff? Absolutely lovely — welcoming, genuine, and clearly proud of what they’ve created.
Warm, local, and full of charm — Kith and Kin is exactly the kind of spot every neighbourhood...
Read moreWe were lucky enough to have afternoon tea here on August Bank Holiday Monday, and what a treat! The selection was fantastic and it all tasted amazing! My partner is vegetarian and there was a great selection for him as well as gluten free. This has to be the best afternoon tea in Manchester! I have tried Harvey Nichols, the Hilton and Richmond Tea Rooms but you can't beat the atmosphere and beautiful staff for a wonderful experience. I will definitely be coming back for a coffee and cake (which are all made on site!) to sit and watch the...
