Nice spot to sit outside, we came for a midweek lunch and it was pretty quiet. The staff were attentive and friendly and everything came out quickly. For 2 we got scratchings, charcuterie, cheese, croquetas, fried squid, stewed rabbit and patatas bravas, then also caved and got dessert. This was massive overkill! If I were to go back, I would not get the pork scratchings, which were a bit bland, and the patatas bravas which were not very crisp and also a bit bland. Everything else was lovely however, especially the selection of meats, the rabbit and the tocino de cielo (though a half portion would be more than enough!). On balance, though very enjoyable, I found this quite overpriced coming in at £40/pp. I'm surprised there's no midweek lunch deal, and think that would be a hit.

I’ve driven past here many times and each time thought I’d like to try it; this weekend I finally did and it not disappoint. It’s not very big inside, but this only helps create more of intimate atmosphere. We were sat upstairs, right next to the balcony and had a great view of the rest of the restaurant downstairs. Service was very attentive and very quick. The white sangria was beautiful and the food was delicious. I tried rabbit for the first time, as it was the special that week, but it wasn’t for me. The chickpea and lentil stew was my favourite dish that we ordered. For a small jug of sangria, 6 tapas, 2 desserts and 2 cocktails it cost us £84, which I think was very good value.

A lovely spot, the building is stunning and decorated perfectly to compliment its external grandure. When you get inside, the playlist of Indie favourites creates a casual and relaxing atmosphere as well as the very friendly staff. The food is banging, chicken thighs and pork dishes being a real highlight. Everything we had was tasty, the Negroni was a treat and the desserts were just the ticket. I had a chocolate mousse with honey comb, just perfect to finish off our meal. We shared six dishes and quite frankly could have kept going it was that nice. Thank you very much.

The food and the service were both immaculate. We were there both mid week and mid afternoon so it was very quiet, hence the atmosphere score, but I do feel bad about that because they obviously care about the experience almost as much as they care about the food. And they really care about the food. The young man who served us was visibly excited about their ingredients and, in fairness to the man, the meal that we had was excellent. The chicken thighs were particularly good and the patatas bravas, which, being a northerner, are the measure by which I judge any tapas establishment, were lovely. I wish that I'd ordered them twice. The bill came to £35 a head, including drinks, which, given the quality of the meal, I would say is very fair. They are clearly aiming for a modern version of a traditional set of dishes and, in my opinion, do a good job of it. This is the restaurant that the Northern Quarter wishes it had. The toilets were a bit iffy, but no worse than you'd expect from any cellar in Salford. I don't know if there is a wheelchair...

I’ve wanted to try this place for so long. Finally ate here a few weeks back and the food was lovely. Very traditional. Quick service, and lovely sangria. I got really odd vibes off the lady who served us from the get-go. Quite passive aggressive, it was quite uncomfortable. I politely asked if she knew if anything was gluten free, and she made an odd remark “next time tell us, it’s a lot easier” before going to grab a different menu (It’s great that they have a separate menu for this! Not every place does, so I don’t like to assume) I hadn’t ordered anything yet, we’d just sat down, the restaurant wasn’t busy so not sure why I was met with the tone and remark but I just apologised and thanked her for the menu. I don’t dig confrontation, so it put a damper on my time there.

If we’re purely reviewing the food, it’s a lovely traditional...

Porta wine and Tapas are really excellent. It was Friday night and busy but the staff were friendly and cool, attentive and really smooth appearing at the right time to clear the used plate etc. The experience was real genuine Tapas, the food excellent we were able to dip into all the different delicious dishes while chatting washed down in my case by properly chilled gluten free estrella. My wife and daughter had light lovely Temperanillo. I had the pink pork with zingy Verde sauce. My daughter had fantastic home prepared pickled anchovies and my wife had a lovely moist tortilla beautifully cooked. The pardon peppers were a lottery of mild and hair raisingly hot. The patatas bravas had excellent paprika sauce and mayo all home made. The result a thoroughly enjoyable night out. Also...
