Two things struck me the most when I first arrived here . One the hard working cleaners polishing the floor and keeping this space nice for visitors like me . Two the talented and hard working men preserving the windows . Is life realy as depressing as I get depressed ? These workers probably hate what they are doing and feel unappreciated . I appreciate you . You make our environment more pleasant . You help preserve our culture . You make me feel lucky to be alive . This Cathedral is lovely in many respects reminds me of a Pugin building though I know its not . I think of all those less fortunate than me , I wish I could do more to help them all . The stations of the cross were lovely here I wish I could tell more about them . The peeling paint and emptiness reminds me of my life the workers of my hope . Manchester is a fantastic city with problems like any other and people here the same as people anywhere else . There is a great statue of St Peter here I am guessing he has the keys and I think...
