We have visited three times since foodunagi has joined and this place started to offer the best sushi in Manchester. The food is always outstanding in this place their cocktails are absolutely delicious, my favourite is the lychee daiquiri 𤤠however the service is not that great. The aim of this review is to say that they have dramatically improved since our first visit so I have high hopes for this place to move from 4 stars to 5 soon. Currently there is still work to do, expect delays on food and some missing items but in my opinion as long as the waitress inform you about this beforehand like they did on our last visit is the key to good service. First visit- no attention, no side plates rather rude service we have raised this. Second attempt massive improvement. And on our third visit it was almost perfect. They waitress was kind , funny, apologetic but mainly she was keeping us up to date and gave us options. The manager was extremely nice, acknowledged all the issues and even offered additional discount as compensation. He also had a simple chat with us and when the business is busy that's what really appreciated the time he dedicated to us. That one minute be dedicated to us was very appreciated, and showed good customer service skills. One thing if the restaurant read this review is to work on the time when customer asks for the bill. On every single occasion we had to wait a long time and if someone is asking for bill that means they are ready to go and don't want to be wasting their time sitting around, it's frustrating. Overall happy with the place because they seek to be the best and improve. Highly recommended

I love coming here and do so as often as I can. My last visit was Christmas Eve 2023. The bar and restaurant decor has a contemporary feel with some wonderful throwback pictures of 1990ās (some late 80ās) local rock legends. There are some really comfortable seating booths with T.V screens. Great for when football is on. Thereās some good beers at the bar too. I liked the Pale Ale. Food is reasonably priced. There is a superb Asian food menu along with the usual Gastro classics. The Sunday roast is lovely. There is music on in the evenings at the weekend if you like dancing but it does get busy here at night. The Lime Bar is a lovely place to visit in Media City. Very friendly and very stylish. There is also an outlet mall, theatre and car park next door so Lime Bar is very handy if youāre in Media City for shopping or catching a show. Thanks for reading

Absolutely terrible and would never return! What a waste of nearly Ā£100!! After a terminally Iāll diagnosis recently we were looking forward to our trip to the theatre. Im a believer in supporting our local independent businesses and saw online that this was an independent local business that supports local suppliers. We arrived and were greeted after a few minutes by a young lady waitress who showed us to our table. She gave us menus and I saw online they did a pre theatre set menu so asked for this. She said she ādidnāt know if they were doing them todayā and went away what I thought was to check. While weāre waiting we noticed that the menu given was totally different to the online menu and I mean the main menu now no the pre theatre menu ( as we hadnāt had that yet). So I was a little dismayed as I had like a coupon dishes in the online menu and was looking forward to that. We noticed after waiting a little while that the waitress who was going to check on the theatre menu was showing other guests to their tables and taking orders, so she must have completely disregarded us. Yet again we asked another young lady waitress about the pre theatre menu and she went away to check and brought us it a short while later. As it turned out there were no vegan options on the theatre menu and so we ordered from the main menu. Everything seemed to be going fine and then our appetisers were brought out. As they were given to us the waitress (who was very nice) said she had made a mistake and our mains were ready now also can she bring them out? I was firm and said no as I have a disability and have swallowing problems so eating takes me a little longer and so it would be cold. She said ok and went away. Appetisers were very nice. The mains came out and my daughters Vegan burger must have been kept warm from when it was made in error as the fries were cold, the vegan cheese slice was all dried up also. My wifeās burger was dried up, the fries were cold and the chilli was cold. I firmly believe they had been kept warm and they expected us to eat food made in error by the establishment. We asked for the meals for my wife and daughter to be re made and then after a grudgingly look they took them away to make them. The lady (another different waitress), asked if anyone was warm to take off the plate and eat it whilst she asked for the rest to be re made. 𤬠My sons and mine sausage and mash was cooked fine. No cutlery was given with the mains so we had to ask for it. The re made food was brought after a short while and my wife and daughter started to eat. They said the food wasnāt nice at all and the establishment is quite pricey (which is fine for quality food, which we expected). As my daughter ate her food she noticed that where we were brought in, the gap we came through with our wheelchairs (myself and my son are disabled) had been filled because they had put another table there!! They were a couple dining on the table. My daughter asked a waitress why they had put a table there and how were we to get out? The reply was āDonāt worry about it they can just move to let you pastā!! We asked for the bill and they had added nearly Ā£10 on the bill for service charge?! My daughter asked why and is it optional? She was told āYes it is optional and she could remove it if we wantedā. My daughter said yes as service had been terrible. It should never been added. The bill was just over Ā£90 and Iām sure the other chain restaurants could have provided superior food and service and so will not return again. We then had to go and ask the couple dining could they just move a little so we could get out. Very embarrassing! In summary: Online main menu doesnāt exist! Service poor! Higher price for sub par food! Hype of the impression given online does not match the dining experience!

We decided to try Lime for our date night while visiting Salford Quays and what a mistake we made.We arrived and were seated quite quickly in a large booth which was nice. There was only two others customers in so they weren't busy at all. We ordered two cokes as we were driving and had a look through the menu before deciding on the Buttermilk fried chicken and Dirty "O" Dog with a Lime Frickle starter. The Frickles were hot and juicy, while still maintaining its crispy coating. My Buttermilk chicken however was tiny, it honestly looked like a kid's meal. The taste was fine but the portion size was ridiculous. The Dirty O Dog was truly atrocious, cold sloppy and generally tasted poor quality for the £17 price tag. Both meals came with overly fried weird tasting fries, I honestly don't understand how you can mess up frozen fries but Lime managed to do it. Overall we won't ever return, £50+ for a kid's meal chicken burger, a sloppy hotdog, fries, two cokes and fried gherkins... We'd have been better off going next door to Nandos!

We went for dinner here yesterday after a long day at a conference we were attending. Great decision! Friendly and professional staff who greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. One mark of good restaurant training is when they get back to you at some point to ask if everything is OK with the food, which they did. There was a bit of a delay getting our bill but it didn't really matter as we were enjoying our time chatting. I ordered the spicy squid for starter -- it was one of the best ones I've had (and I love squid). Perfectly cooked and well-seasoned, crispy and tender. Good portion size too. For my mains, I had The Spider sushi, consisting of soft-shelled crab and avocado. Delicious and filling! Their poke bowls are great too. Beautiful plating as well. They both have western and Japanese and Japanese fusion selection. Highly recommended!
