First and last visit for us. We were looking forward to trying a new local restaurant & the menu looked great. I took a chance and ordered the "special"spinach & ricotta ravioli which cost 12.50 & wished I had stuck to tried & tested favourites. The "white sauce" which accompanied it was the most insipid thing I've ever tasted, it just tasted floury with mozzarella. There were only about 9 bits of ravioli and the garlic bread accompaniment looked as if it came out of a packet. The waiting staff asked if everything was OK & I passed on that the texture of the ravioli was fine but otherwise it was flavourless. He advised that other people had made the same complaint- I've no idea why they would keep serving it with that feedback. One of our party ordered the calzone & advised it was doughy and tasted burnt. We weren't particularly impressed with the covid precautions, the manageress wore her mask under her nose or chin & one of the staff cleaned the tables with the equivalent of windowlene. As far as I'm aware that's not antibacterial! I'm conscious that there might be teething troubles with a new business & the staff were lovely but if they don't listen to customer feedback, there's plenty of other places to take your business in Largs

Wow, what a place❤️. When we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and made to feel very welcome. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service first class. The food smelt and tasted amazing. I had the Risotto with prawns, mussels, and clams.. Oh my god, it was the best tasting Risotto I have ever tasted. My fiancé had the seafood pizza, something he had never tried before, and he wasn't disappointed. We both had affogato la cafe for desserts but forgot to take a before photo. I assure you, without a shadow of a doubt, it was absolutely delicious. If you are ever up this way in Largs, you have to eat here. But be warned, you must book a table as it's a very popular place. ❤️

My favourite place for lasagne!! It is hands down the best I've ever had and every time I have visited the quality has always been the same, amazing. Staff are always quick to serve you as well, never had a long wait. I went on my birthday previously and staff brought my cake out as well as plates and a knife so we could have some as our dessert they're very accommodating of occasions! The only slight advice I would have (and maybe for Allegra too) is the chips are very hot like please be careful not to burn yourself, I have a few times as the potato is really hot but the chips themselves are amazing! Highly recommend.

The quick veredict: visited here with the family and loved it, every aspect of it from the food, price, atmosphere, speed of service and courtesy was on point and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an Italian fix. The long blurb: Came in without reservation after quickly looking on Google maps for something near. The atmosphere is relaxed, chilled jazz music in the background, modern decor with sea views. The food: I got a focaccia with garlic and oil to share with my wife and it came quickly, soft on the inside and slightly toasted outside it was simply perfect. My main was the risotto al tartuffo and once again, could not fault it in any way. Delicate and creamy with the right amount of mushroom and a generous amount of parmesan shavings on top, I left nothing on the plate. My wife had the lasagna, they're are many reviews here praising this is their best dish so I won't ramble on, suffice to say the reviews were correct. Kids ordered from the kids menu, well priced just over £10, garlic bread, a mozzarella pizza which was just a smaller version of the adults and just as lovingly made, while my son had the lasagna too, and neither of them left anything behind on the plate. For pudding the kids had ice cream and my wife the tiramisu, again really enjoyed it all. I didn't have room for anything, a testament perhaps to the portion size. The waiter was very pleasant and the food came quickly without feeling rushed at all. As a said at the beginning, well worth a stop here. Why am I not posting any pictures you ask? We all started eating at soon as the food arrived, it looked too...

Booked for 8pm but shown to a table with parallel seats facing outwards on arrival. Sensing our confusion, we were redirected to a tiny square table crammed between 2 others which made all 6 diners uncomfortable. Conversation impossible, Omicron highly feasible. Not wishing to ruin our companion’s evening, we left without dining. Shabby treatment & disappointing. Would advise reorganising table layout or warning customers in advance if they’re going to be rubbing elbows with strangers.

Update: in response to the owner’s reply, I feel it’s important to clarify I have left only one review which accurately sums up our experience. The original review was revised as I felt it was slightly harsh but having done so, we then received a phone call from the owner demanding to know why we’d left another review. The word ‘why’ used over and over even after explaining. You’re correct to say we didn’t stay long but incorrect to state 30 seconds. It was approximately 5 mins. You are incorrect to state I just want to leave a bad review. We would much prefer to have had an enjoyable experience and leave a good review, especially as it was a very rare evening out since the birth of our 2nd child. The simple fact is, the table we were shown to on arrival made us both feel as though we were selling tickets at the bingo rather than dining in an Italian restaurant. You oversold tables and we were the unlucky ones. It’s not complicated. I’d end by saying your continual haranguing phone calls don’t help your cause because your manner is less than friendly or apologetic. Please stop...

Visited today with a friend for a nice meal out. The service was prompt, and waiting staff were nice enough. I ordered the lasagne and my friend had the fillet taglatellie and we ordered garlic bread as a side. The tagliatelle was overloaded with mushrooms and dry. Also the steak in the dish was extremely fatty, and there wasnt much in the dish, maybe 5 small bits. Expected the steak to be fat free as it was fillet, however, as so much fat and grissle was present, this must not have been served as advertised. My lasagne was incredibly cheesy and I now feel ill. I couldn't finish the dish as it was mostly melted cheese, I couldn't see the red from the bolognaise sauce and could barely find any meat, however I did wish to take the leftover home. When the box came out it had my lasagne without any side and no garlic bread. My friend did bring up the fact that her dish was unsatisfactory, and the waitress said she would talk to the manager, however nothing came of this. I really liked this place the first few times, but something definitely feels off now. Following this my friend ordered a coffee. Another waitress arrived and put a coffee down in front of each of us. I had said that I didn't want anything else, so was very Confused. All in all it wasn't a great experience, we are both now home and both feeling ill. I personally have been sick. My lasagne resides on the street now. Quite the let down, but as I said, the staff were attentive. Just not...
