One of the worst food places in Glasgow...
Went other day with family and was treated like rubbish. The member of staff called "Amy" behind the counter had no customer service skills whatsoever and shouldn't work in the restaurant Industry
My problem is as follows (I) met with glum faces with no smile (Ii) no customer service skills whatsoever and manger and staff behind the counter don't know how to deal with customers (Iii) some of the containers which hold the meat contents were literally empty (Iv) ordered 2 classic burritos and staff member "AMY" served me, not only did she have attitude she looked as if she didn't want to be there, looked disorientated and disinterested in her job, some people take pleasure in her job. But she was the latter (V) AMY was literally scraping the last bits of chicken out the near empty meat container. I told her to replace it with a new container and she looked at me with disgust and said ok (Vi) the burritos I got were filled with little meat Md under the recommended portion size a burrito should have... my burritos were literally filled with black beans and veg (Vii) when I asked her to add more meat she's said u have to pay extra (Viii) once I got my food I asked for the manager and AMY said that's her (Ix) the manger her self was looking at me you could tell on her face she never wanted to speak to me
To sum up I was ripped off for burritos which were full of veg and lirerally no meat
All staff in this premises need customer service training and this place is not family friendly... Families...
Read moreI have passed by here over the years but never tried it until now. Searching for some kind of genuine street food in Glasgow city centre is tough and as I couldn't find any locally I thought I'd give here a try. Having been to a few burrito bars in the past I would sit this as average but not bad. The two female staff were helpful as I explained it was my first time there and I had no problems ordering. They explained that they no longer done the meal deal, which was top of the list on the website, but explained what deals were active. The burrito itself, while tasty enough, wasn't the warmest and, like I said before, average. My one annoyance was wanting to sit at the window and people watch as I was eating but the display sign sits at shoulder height so completely blocked the view without stopping. I don't know why you would have cracking big windows and block them?
Overall, it's reasonably priced and tasty enough but not the authentic feel I was looking for. While it had the feeling of a chain or franchise I would still come again if an easy option was what...
Read moreFoods nice but they put their prices up and when you buy the “Loaded” option which is double meat the meat they now add is less but they charge 90p per meat more irregardless of what the person serving you says. They said everything in the yellow section of the menu is included (but it’s not included in the price). Pricing needs to be more transparent.
The food prices went up and the size they give of each ingredient is less now so it’s a lot more expensive overall. Might just be the one store visited in Queen st but really don’t like this new pricing structure on their menu.
The reason why you speak to a person is that they help you navigate the menu and understand the prices involved. They should make it clearer when you choose the Loaded option what the pricing implications are.
The food here is tasty just you need to have enough ingredients to make it really tasty.
Hope this is fixed by now so no one has the same experience with the Loaded option but in fairness the food is tasty even if you unexpectedly have to pay 3 or 4...
