Bufalo Grill — Restaurant in Scotland

Where do I even start with this place!!! Paid almost £70 for one of the worse meals I have ever experienced in my life.

We went here for my birthday around 6pm, before a show at the kings theatre. We were sat down and really liked the look of the menu. We both love steaks and ordered the rump steak with mash, veg and mushrooms. Place was deed!

When this arrived it was very very oily around the plate. The mushrooms were dumped on top. The steak was as thick as a pancake as had been battered by the looks of it, and there was a weird aroma coming from the dish.

Taste, was awful. I've had so many steaks as it's my go to when going out and by far this was the worst I have ever had. It tasted slightly off, definitely not fresh, and extremely dry. It didn't even taste like a steak. Further to my disappointed the steak and mushrooms seemed to have been dipped in some sort of spicy masala sauce which ruined the steak and probs why it didn't taste like one. They have an option for a spicy steak but we ordered standard. There was nothing mentioned on the menu that there steaks are marinated or cooked in a masala sauce, or the mushrooms, if we had known that's how it comes we would have went elsewhere. The menu simply stated steak and same with then mushrooms, should be noted on the menu how you cook this. Part of me though maybe they do that because they are using the cheapest of cheapest steaks and maybe cover that fact up. The veg was also covered in that same disgusting masala they use.

Service was also poor. Staff looked miserable, guy was sitting in the kitchen on his phone on a work surface, and not once did anyone come to check up on how everything was. Paid the bill and no genuine farewell, staff looked like they couldn't be bothered.

At a price point this was a complete let down, will never be back...

Would not recommend this place at all. Had to call a waiter 3 times to place our order. Then had to wait over an hour for our food. People who came after us got their food before us. When we asked how long kept getting told our food is next which was a lie. The food was absolutely appalling both chicken burgers that we ordered were uncooked and still pink inside, when we mentioned this to staff all we got was sorry will make u another one. On top of all the staff has some attitude and didn’t even understand English, there was no customer service at all. We had 2 separate tables as there was a lot of us when asked for sauce for the other table we were told to share. Customer service is absolutely ridiculous had to ask for napkins over and over again and waitress kept bringing a few napkins only. We had to go to ask the staff members for water. When going to pay our burgers that were uncooked were still on our bill. We asked for these to be removed then staff members had the cheek to ask us for cash only which could have been mentioned when we booked or when we came in. Paid over £200 and didn’t even have the decency to apologise to us the staff member at the till was so rude to my brother. Definitely won’t be back and would not recommend buffalo grill to anyone! Badly disappointment and frustrated with the service I received during my recent order placed at Bufalo Grill on 10/04/24 at approximately 7:00 PM.

To begin with, the experience was marred by the constantly changing delivery times. Initially provided with an estimated delivery time of 8:50 PM, I eagerly anticipated the arrival of my meal. However, as the evening progressed, the delivery time was repeatedly pushed back, reaching an astonishing 11:05 PM. This inconsistency and lack of adherence to the initially provided delivery time are completely unacceptable and left me feeling frustrated and inconvenienced.

In an attempt to gain clarity and reassurance, I reached out to the store directly. To my dismay, I was assured that my food would be delivered within the next 7 minutes. Regrettably, this assurance turned out to be false, as I continued to wait until 9:50 PM, a full two hours past the promised delivery time, without any sign of my order. The hunger and frustration experienced by myself and my family as a result of this prolonged wait were simply intolerable.

Waiting for over two hours for a meal, only to ultimately cancel it due to extreme delays, is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the reputation of your establishment.
