Really awesome place. Four of us ate here on a Saturday night during a trip to Glasgow and we all loved it. The quality of the food is way beyond what you may expect for a place with such a laid back feel, the menu is creative and flavours on offer tremendous. In addition, there's a great selection of drinks; beers, cocktails and wines. The best thing about this place however is the atmosphere, it looks and feels brilliantly cool, there's a real buzz about it.
A few criticisms... We were sat next the door where people were constantly walking through to the smoking area which was a bit annoying. We were waiting a while to be given menus after sitting down, the waiter however apologised and had plenty of banter with us all. The kitchen closed at fairly early meaning we couldn't have desert, we were all full so no real bother but forewarning when booking our table would have been nice.

We got presented with a bill before we had even ordered our first drink, must have been for another tablet. Service time was very long, over an hour to get our mains and all we had to start was popodoms. Hard to get staffs attention and when the food did arrive we were a bit disappointed. Rice was cold and clumping together, my curry was super hot but my partners was barely warm and his beef was chucky and very over cooked. By this point we just wanted to eat what we could and go, getting hold of staff to get it rectified would have been a challenge and then to wait again would just spoil our evening. Had been really looking forward to the visit but felt it was a poor experience all round. Sadly wouldn't recommend on...
Read moreWent here today for the Sunday roast and was blown away with how good it was. The chicken and the beef dishes were both unreal and although the proteins were cooked perfectly it was the accompaniments that stole the show for me. I want to buy barrels of the sauce so I can have a bath in it and drink my way out. Yorkshire puddings were giant. Roasties that were heavy crispy on the outside and fluffy as clouds in the middle. The maple glazed carrots were the best and I can’t stop thinking about them. Service was great as well. Thanks for a cracking...
