Newton House Student Accommodation Glasgow — Local services in Great Britain

Newton House for Student Accommodation is fantastic. From a parent's point of view the accommodation is incredibly safe and secure with fob entry access only both on the main door and all access within the entire building. Having experienced student private halls in the past this is the creme de la creme. The layout our son experienced was of a 5 bed flat, each independent and secure with communal bathrooms, kitchen/diner/sitting room. Clean, fresh, modern, easy to maintain but with an air of home about it, these flats are perfect to ensure social interaction within the flat itself but also enabling privacy when required. Added features to Newton House was the fully equipped gym facilities; study hall; cinema and communal breakout space with ample laundry facilities. Everyone expects a but in a review... not in this one. The staff within the letting agency were incredible. Our son had to be moved mid-term into emergency accommodation and we struggled to find good, safe and secure accommodation central to Strathclyde University. On discovering Newton House the staff expedited his entry, made his transition incredibly stress free and could not help enough. If you wish a safe, independent atmosphere be it for a UK or International student I would highly recommend Newton House...

I lived at Newton House for 3 years, and I could not have asked for a better experience!

The flats are really lovely and spacious, and all the rooms are really well furnished. The flats have a very sleek modern design, and they get lots of natural light even on gloomy winter days. The common areas are fantastic, with a proper gym, big cinema room, study room and games room all available on the first floor. The location of the building is also ideal, with so many amazing Glasgow locations within walking distance. Also, even though the building is located on a busy street, there is essentially no noise contamination in the flats.

Newton House is a really great option for international students looking for a very easy and reliable accommodation option, especially with the student housing crisis going on. The booking process for a room is effortless, and it's very convenient to have utilities included in the total rent. Gillian (the building manager) and Tommy (the caretaker) are both incredibly friendly and supportive, and they're more than happy to help with any questions or repairs!

I lived in this accommodation for 3 out of 4 of my university years. The accommodation was great for meeting people and I have since kept in contact with all of my previous flatmates. The accommodation was great for social life, offering many amenities such as cinema room, pool table, gym and tables tennis all of these facilities were in great condition throughout my stay. The accommodation has all of the shops you could want or need within walking distance. Futhermore, when i was doing my dissertation the accommodation offered a brilliant work from home environment with the study zone and ample amount of desk space in the rooms.

I would highly recommend this accommodation for any student!

It is also worth noting that the staff during my stay, some of which including GIllian (house/ building manager), Douglas (caretaker) and Tommy (caretaker) were all very kind and supportive and offered great care and assistance throughout my stay.

I can happily say that I enjoyed my time at Newton house !!
