This was our third visit to Antipasti, and it’s safe to say it has firmly secured a spot as one of our absolute favorites. Each time we dine here, we're reminded why we keep coming back, everything from the service to the food is consistently excellent. We’re slowly working our way through the menu, and at this rate, we fully intend to try everything! The pastas are always perfectly cooked, al dente every time. On this visit, I had the salmon linguine in a vodka cream sauce, which was rich, velvety, and full of flavor. My boyfriend went with the baked seafood linguine. For starters, I had the gnocchi in pesto. Soft, pillowy, and coated in a vibrant, fragrant sauce. My boyfriend chose the seared king prawns, which were tender, juicy, and full of that charred, savory goodness. Both dishes were thoroughly enjoyed. I couldn’t resist finishing the meal with my favorite dessert, the tiramisu and once again, it did not disappoint. Creamy, balanced, and not overly sweet, it was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. Antipasti continues to deliver, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Excellent food! Great social distancing set up first of all! The staff were really friendly, and the service was good. There was a great choice of food. I ordered 3 little plates: butternut squash lasgna, Italian bread with mozzarella and Napoli, and the tomato & courgette risotto. The food was lovely- especially the risotto!-although I would've liked if they'd had just a regular vegetarian/vegetable tomato based lasagna, and for the Napoli dip to have been a bit sweeter, but all in all it was fab. I also ordered the potato & leek gratin as a side ( cheaper than ordering it as another small plate ) and it was nice, I just personally would've preferred it to have been cooked a bit longer so that the vegetables were softer and had a more gooey consistency. For dessert, I had warm chocolate fudge cake and ice cream- it was delish! The only downside was the price - £5.25 for the slice on its own, and another 95p for an extremely small scoop of ice cream. Generally, I would say that this restaurant is pricey, but the food doesn't disappoint! We had a lovely evening, and would definitely go back.

Very nice atmosphere with great romantic cosey decor, everything was clean and very enjoyable . Great for grpups and romantic meals too. Staff is friendly and attentive even though there is a number of people serving thebsame table.. Menue has a good range and prices are on the lover end considering it is a city centre with a large portion sizes. I would take a rain check witj cream sauces. I ordered wilde mushroom and triffel pasta. The mushroms were not wilde and i could not taste truffle at all. We had issues with two dishes that jad cream cheese sauce that was overheated and split , leaving pasta to be saturated in oil from the cheese. Staff was very pleasent on review and they did not charged us for the these dishes even though I would pay , so 100% for the front of the house team and cheff may need some more refinment

We used this restaurant pretty regularly for many years. We were excited to get back to using the place after the pandemic closed everything down and we weren't disappointed on the first few times we ate here.

We have attended a few times since and on each occasion, the menu appears to be missing more and more items (most notably mussels, which is one of our favourite menu items) and the level of service from the staff has become more and more hostile.

On our second last visit, we were ignored most of the time and had to proactively request fresh drinks, extra portions, desserts etc. Each time we indicated we required assistance the staff member would discreetly sigh and roll their eyes. This really surprised us as it was such blatant disregard for our enjoyment and made us feel as though we were annoying them and getting in the way. We waited a long time before having to go to the desk to ask for our bill and our sons dessert. We were then given the bill and had to wait even longer to pay before they attempted to usher us out, despite our son still not having received his dessert. When we mentioned this the staff member literally stomped away and came back with some ice cream visibly annoyed.

On our most recent visit the dismissive and rude attitude was prevalent. It made us feel very upset and uncomfortable being in the restaurant. When we arrived, we let them know we had a table booked and the name, the staff member seemed annoyed and asked us to repeat what we said. We were moved toward a table near the door when my son announced he needed the toilet. When we returned we were escorted to a completely different table. We were then told rather aggressively that they had no mussels, no steak and no calamari. The staff member seemed very very annoyed and disinterested while dealing with us which left us wondering why we were being treated in this manner when coming out for a quiet meal. We ordered drinks and a main meal each and left as soon as possible.

Looking back we should have left before we ordered anything as the attitude of the staff was appalling and we don't expect to feel judged and uncomfortable anywhere when we are paying for a service.

Very disappointed as this was one of our favourite restaurants in the past with friendly staff and great food. On the last few visits we felt like we were disturbing them everytime we tried to engage the staff with requests or even just...

I honestly do not know where these 5☆ reviews are coming from. We visited this restaurant before an event in the Kings Theatre. We opted for a reasonably priced 2 course pre theatre menu. The bruccetta was average. We ordered pasta and a pizza. Despite getting the pasta covered in parmesan, it was still bland and tasteless. And there was fat on the chicken. The pasta was left uneaten. The pizza was the worst pizza I have ever had. I could've bought a tastier pizza from Aldi. I was given a different knife to be able to cut the pizza. God knows why. The base was disgraceful. So hard and crispy around the edges and doughy in the middle. The knife would not cut it. I ended up breaking a bit and ripping it across. Bland as hell. My additional topping was Italian sausage. That could've been anything cause there was no taste. Pizza was also left uneaten apart from that bit I managed to rip across. The girl who served us was lovely but at times too attentive. We ordered wine and it was brought to us. We had just taken a couple of sips from the glass when she was back over asking if we were OK for drinks. We said we were fine but a few minutes later she came back to see if we wanted water or juice. No, we wanted peace to drink what we had ordered. She came at the end and lifted away 2 full plates of practically untouched food and never questioned it. We paid the bill and left. To be honest I should have complained, but we had a show to catch and didn't have time. But if she had asked about the food I would have told her it was vile....

My wife & I pre-booked a pre-theatre meal here (at short notice on a Saturday night) & were able to do so with ease.

On arrival we were appropriately & warmly welcomed & quickly seated at a table, which wasn't to my personal liking so I asked the young waitress if we could move (the restaurant was almost full to capacity at this point) she quickly scouted for a potential replacement & we were soon enough moved to our satisfaction.

We were served very efficiently & thoroughly enjoyed our meal/experince.

We were able to get a special offer so the value was excellent.

The food was very good.

The all round service was fantastic, so much so that we are most likely to make this one of our preffered restaurants anytime we're looking to dine out in Glasgow City centre in future.

What an amazing difference & privilege to receive such excellent high quality & genuinely customer based service, particularly nowadays.

Well done to the 3 invaluable employees that we noticed whom were rushed off their feet the entire time that my wife & I dined here, you're a real credit to yourselves, Cafe Antipasti & the hospitality industry in general, I wish there were far more places so genuinely efficient & customer...
