Would rate 0 if I could in relation to the handling of formal complaints. I went up to Dundee for a night out with my siblings, after a few drinks in spoons (a fine establishment) my brother (male, 22) was rejected by one member of security staff for 'being too drunk'. I on the other hand, a 'lightweight' and in a much worse condition than he was, was accepted twice into the club and on a third attempt I was finally rejected for 'my attitude' after stating my brother was a young male and he was no where near as drunk as another customer (female - crying just outside the door). That evening, intermittantly between 1am and 5am I was able to draft a well written email to the manager stating all the above facts in my complaint, I went over this the next day to edit only 2 spelling mistakes (clearly I wasnt that drunk). The general manager got back to me via email on several occasions suggesting a call to discuss my issue. Now this is about our 4th or 5th planned call date, with yet again no contact. Very dissappointing as we specifically went to Dundee to attend 'Club T'. I understand this is a fairly pety issue but if the staff cannot be bothered to handle easy to deal with, minor complaints then how can we expect anything else for more...
Read moreBeen here over the years, and it has got worse and worse. The place is expensive to get in, and the so called street PR 'deals' count for nothing at the cash desk (total con in itself).
Place is now getting dated, they've implemented a ton of weird policies like if you're under 21 you go to one floor, and over 21s go somewhere else (which has now stopped I think due to the lack of people). Past few times i've been there (Fri's and Sats!) the place has been absolutely empty. Meanwhile Liquid next door has been packed to the rafters, so it's nothing to do with no demand.
Entrance cost expensive, drinks costs not always the cheapest, and due to the lack of people and the dated decor, the place feels very soulless and empty. This club is very quickly turning out to be a budget and down-market club, but with regular club pricing. And there's Fat...
Read moreI was passing through dundee, aura and club Tropicana and vegan are the same establishment; They changed it on Google, I think because of the bad reviews. they made me pay for 3 tickets, the place is poorly attended, queues for everything, general confusion, even paying 3 tickets I couldn't stay even 5 minutes in the place, they say it's the best in town, I imagine the worst then. I asked for my money for the tickets they made me pay for… they didn't give me my money back, I don't recommend it, don't waste your time and money, it's not even worth...
