Clutha and Victoria bar is one of Glasgow's most fabulous bars is a proper Glasgow bar here you will meet all sorts of people form Glaswegian, bikers, Punks and steampunk. This bar is a great place to visit to get a taste of Glasgow if you are a tourist and you will always find someone to chat to and have a good time here. They have good music on all the time, and at the weekends they do live events with local bands, and it is a cracking venue for it because it's quite compact, so you feel part of the experience.
This pub has tables outside at the front and rear. At the back is an excellent place to a smoking and a drink because you're quite sheltered.
The food and drink
The food is delicious in this place, the service is quick, and everything freshly prepared. I enjoy your nachos and pizza. Nachos have such a complex flavour it is unbelievable can't explain it just yummy, and they have a great variety of amazing pizzas. It is suitable for vegetarians too. The drinks are very reasonable price with a great variety of drinks to choose from.
Accessibility
There is no real problem with accessibility into this bar and around if you use a wheelchair. The only thing you have to be aware of is when you're in the downstairs part of the bar you need to go round the outside to get to the accessible toilet. They have a perfectly adequate disabled toilet with plenty of transfer room.
The staff
The staff in this bar are incredibly friendly and always happy to see you. They have been accommodating with my needs when I am here. Also, they go above and beyond with customer service. I was here one night I watched one of the staff members helped an older gentleman who was struggling to walk to get a taxi and got him into the cab. Brilliant staff.
I would highly recommend you go here for a night out when they have live music on you will have...
Read moreI only visited the Victoria so the Clutha is not included in this review of my expearience. I went in looking for a couple of quick drinks after walking back from Hampden park after Scotland v England game. It wasn't even that busy for a Saturday evening I would estimate around 15-20 people in there and one staff member serving. Couldn't get served waited around 15 mins for a pint eventually gave up and went somwhere else.
Im not blaming the bar tender she was doing the best she could but it was poorly organised. The beer was coming out painfully slowly into each pint and with only one person serving it was literally torture when all you need is one cold one to soothe your soul. It was a shame as liked the look and feel to the place. I wont let one bad experience put me off but I can only judge on...

Plenty of outdoor space to sit on nice days. Plenty of room inside between the two bars. We were in the bar that didn't have live music & could still hear the music well without it being to loud.
Good selection of drinks, prices were reasonable for Glasgow & the mixers were out of a branded bottle. None of this rubbish draught.
While we never had food I've still given it a 5, seen plates getting served and the food looked unreal! Will definitely be going for a fooods one day! I believe they also do a pint & a pizza for £8.50 which is a great price!
Bar staff & management all had a good way about them. Interacting with there customers & making them feel...
