My ferry to one of the Isles in Scotland was cancelled and got stuck in Glasgow for 2 days. I was travelling from Leicester and found a cheap hostel at the city centre. I was pleased to find a central mosque to perform my salah as I could not do them at the hostel. I could also not drink tap water at the hostel as it only had water bottles to buy. But at the mosque they offered food for iftar and bottles of water. The first day, I asked for a bottle of water to take with me and they kindly gave it to me. The second day I was denied to have a bottle of water by one of the supervisors. I was surprised by her behaviour. I also explained to her that I wasn't a local and getting access to drinking water was not free or easily accessible to me living in a hostel. She still said no which is strange because those bottles of water were for guests who came for prayers and iftar anyway. I was offended and did not feel welcomed at Glasgow Central Mosque.
Another woman was not very nice. We were standing on a line for prayers and there was a gap between me and her. She grabbed my hand and pulled me towards her saying that I should be standing on her left side. Now I had a gap on my left side. These gaps would have been filled up by other women anyway, there was no need to grab and pull me and talk in a mean manner.
I love Islam and I loved the architecture at the Glasgow Central Mosque but not so much the Muslim women I dealt with that day. There should be more compassion and...

These guys need some manners. Where's islam when it comes to manners guys? Or maybe it's because they do not care about the community, only status and worldly gains.
They ignore emails, messages and block Instagram accounts to those who voice their opinion on their bad skills of communication.
I queried multiple things, as have family members and friends. Each time, met with disgustingly rude responses.
Anyone considering entering islam or newly reverted, please go to al farooq or any other mosque to avoid an unprofessional and I'll mannered attitude.
No doubt they will try have this blocked and removed.
May Allah swt guide us all. So sad how bad these guys attitudes are. Maybe theres one or two good brothers but yet to encounter. Also, absolutely no women part of the team. I'm not a feminist but for real, I think you lot need to consider having a islamically well educated group of women as part of central mosque.
You rude guys who work here, just remember, you lot will be answerable to Allah swt for hurting any single human. Being rude is why I know of so many who have turned away from GCM.
Take it as constructive criticism and dont let your ego and pride make you think you'll get away with this. Remember what Allah swt says...
