We had our wedding at Committee Room no.9 on Saturday and it was perfect! Matthew was brilliant to work with throughout the planning process, he was really knowledgeable and helpful and replied to my numerous emails very quickly! David did a fantastic job of the room set up, it was perfect! Stewart ran the show on Saturday and made sure everything flowed perfectly! The lovely bar staff, Lauren and Euan, were friendly and amazing! They kept everyone well fed and watered! DJ Charlie was phenomenal, he played the best tunes all night (and stayed late to keep the party going). If you're looking to do a wee wedding or a budget wedding then I cannot recommend Committee Room no.9 enough!!! Every single member of staff we have met has been so friendly and accommodating - they truly made our...

The staff themselves are very friendly but the service left a lot to be desired. It was busy which was fine, but we were waiting a long time to be served and when the food arrived, it was a mixed bag...

One of our party needs to order gluten-free but his meal arrived with chips instead of side salad, and the steak was pretty fatty with more gristle than you'd expect for the cost... Just wasn't a great cut. The fish, however, was excellent I'm told.

It took around 15min to be given the bill after asking for it - probably due to them seemingly only having one person on table service for a packed Saturday bar.

The only real saving grace for me was the bloody mary ketchup they had - it really is amazing and if I go back, it'll mostly be for the sauce. Definitely not...

My dear sweet friends got married this weekend and held the meal and reception here and it was one of the best day/nights ever. Matthew the event manager was so helpful and accommodating, he reassured us through every issue and question we had leading up to the big day. We ended up till 1am but were offered the room till 3am which is great if your guests are big steamin party people and getting them to a club after is a logistical nightmare! The function room looked beautiful, the food was nice, the music went without a hitch but the best thing about holding the wedding here was definitely the staff. Matthew and the bar staff were so fun and warm with everyone it felt like it was being hosted by friends ❤️ thank you all so much again for an incredible day...

Was here for the champions league final. It’s a great pub to watch the football in. Screens everywhere. Large function room upstairs. The burger and chips I had was absolutely brilliant. The coleslaw that came with it was amazing. It’s up there as one of the best burgers I’ve had anywhere. The only let downs were that the service was painfully slow. Also the toilets were a disgrace. Urinals over flowing. But the manager did a good job of getting this sorted. Just could do with making the toilets bigger to cope with the demand. Overall a good experience. Tennents is £4.50 a pint and they do these 2 pint steins which are cool.
