It was not just food, it was a work of passion since every single stuffs the restaurant put on our table and plates are handmade. It's crazy how much they pay attention to little details. Can easily tell by the way they take care of their customers or make sure all their vegan options are real vegan. The chef was not hesitate at all showing us what did she use in making our dishes: yummy almond milk, coconut cream, mushrooms paste ...etc. Definitely a safe place to go for vegetarian n vegan. We feel so much love and respect the chef pour into her work and her own culture just by talking and observing the way they serving, explaining and reply to all the tricky questions from everyone. We ordered takeout from here last night and were distinctly underwhelmed. Nothing was bad but nothing was good either and it's expensive for what it is. The chicken in the snow curry was dry and the sauce was very watered down. The spring rolls were also quite dry and only came with 2 in a portion which for the money is a bit ridiculous. The garlic and chili Pickle was 99% vinegar with one of two tiny slivers of garlic floating it. The summer rolls were tasty but pretty basic. Nothing was outright bad but we were left feeling like we could easily have made the same stuff better at home, and for a fraction of the price. I initially walked past the restaurant then decided to go in, and I'm happy I did as the food was amazing. The staff were very friendly. The place is very clean and inviting. I went for the 3 course menu, which even included a drink! The chicken and prawn roll had a great crunch and tasted fabulous. The mango salad was very tasty. The spicy chicken phó tasted just like one I had in Hanoi from a Michelin starred restaurant. The mochi with chocolate and mango ice cream smooth on the tongue 😋 The jasmine tea was lovely.
