Had a deLIGHTful meal here while the morning sun came up through the buildings across the street. So cozy and magical. The food was amazing. Definitely the best breakfast I've had in town, esp if you like a thick toast! This was deluxe. I got the toasted sourdough (could have been more toasted) with avocado, asparagus, poached eggs and smoked salmon. I added halloumi and that was an excellent decision. This was a beautiful pile of flavors. I relished every bite. I'm only sorry I don't have any more mornings left here in town to enjoy it again!

Took a take away coffee. The mocha was delicious, and even though I usually order mine half sweet, this one was perfect as is, so it's not too sweet. Full of absolutely melt in your mouth Italian chocolate, but not overly sugary. They were very informative about the drinks so I could choose well.

The space is comfortable, the music is good and not too loud, the staff is kind and friendly, very efficient, food came out quickly and hot! This is just around the corner from the Trongate. Very accessible from many parts of town. They deserve all the business you want...

Tucked away in the heart of Glasgow, Kozi Café is a delightful spot that truly lives up to the city's vibrant food scene. I recently visited and tried their Brisket Sandwich, Kitchen Scrambled Eggs, and French Toast with Nutella and Berries—and I must say, every dish exceeded expectations.

The Brisket Sandwich was the standout for me—rich, flavourful, and perfectly tender, served in a soft bun that complemented the meat beautifully. The Kitchen Scrambled Eggs were creamy and well-seasoned, served generously on toasted sourdough. And for those with a sweet tooth, the French Toast was a dream—thick slices with a golden crust, loaded with Nutella and fresh berries. It struck the perfect balance between indulgent and fresh.

One thing that really stood out was the portion size—each plate was very generous, making it great value for money. The café itself has a warm, modern vibe, and the staff were welcoming and attentive throughout.

Whether you're in for a relaxed brunch or just a coffee and dessert, Kozi Café is definitely worth a visit. It’s a gem in Glasgow’s city centre that delivers on both quality...

I had two separate experiences at this place:

  1. The food was generally good, but there was a mix-up with my friend’s order. They requested the vegetarian option, but were mistakenly served the meat version, which they didn’t realise until after eating a little. The staff were considerate, however, and promptly removed the item from the bill, I understand there isn’t much that could have been done at that point.

  2. The pancakes were slightly burnt at the bottom, which could have been easily spotted during preparation. The kitchen tried covering it up with chocolate, but it was still noticeable when eating. Additionally, the Iced Matcha we ordered tasted watered down. While it wasn’t a huge issue, and we did get a student discount, I think its something that could have been avoided.

Overall, the atmosphere and staff were delightful, and the setting was lovely. While the mistakes and burnt food leave me a little hesitant, I’d consider giving the place another try—though I’d probably avoid the pancakes next time and double-check any non-meat dishes...

Nice place for breakfast/brunch/lunch. The food was amazing! Very tasty and large portions, if maybe a bit too oily. Only one option marked as vegan which wasn't ideal, but the chef was happy to exchange the cheese in a vegetarian focaccia for another vegan item for me thus making it vegan :) food prices are good for the size and effort that goes into everything. Sourdough with scrambled eggs and avocado had what looked like a whole avocado on it! Drinks are a bit expensive and they charge a whole 50p for plant-based milk. One downside which is the reason I'm giving 4 not 5 stars, is that there was only one chef in the kitchen serving all tables in the cafe on a busy Sunday mid morning. This is obviously not enough and the poor man was clearly overworked, and as expected the wait times were very long for food. I saw our order only starting to be prepped after 30 min from ordering and we waited 40 min in total which is just too long! This can hopefully be sorted soon though because the note on the door says they're recruiting.

Saw great reviews for this place so decided to give it a try. It’s about a 15-minute walk from Glasgow Queen Street Station. We ordered the Patatas Bravas with chorizo and a steak sandwich. The whole menu sounded so good that it was hard to choose! Both dishes were delicious and full of flavour, though both on the salty side. Was a little hard to eat at points. The Patatas Bravas portion was smaller compared to the sandwich — I wasn’t super full when we left. Prices were fair though; we spent around £30 for both dishes. Overall, tasty food, good value, and worth the short walk from the station. The place filled up super quick. We went first thing on a Sunday and within the hour all the seats were full. The service was good. The waitresses were both very nice. They just weren’t super attentive to the table. No water refills, no asking how everything was. But this was super minor and all the staff was very friendly. Overall I would recommend going. It’s a cute brunch spot.
