Came here twice over two years just to see if the quality's improved - it hasn't. Food looks alright, price is OK and the place looks clean, but looks are deceiving! First tried the 'classic' beef bowl which is actually minced beef (definitely never seen this before) so that was vey disappointing. Came back yesterday to have the tonkotsu ramen - the pork was alright but everything else felt like it came from a packet of instant noodles: tasted like it was mass-produced, full of MSG, salty, egg was overcooked and wasn't marinated, and no depth of flavour which is usually what is sought after in ramen. Some things that came with the dish was also unexpected; for example they added pickled baby ginger to tonkotsu ramen (???). Place was really clean and some of the people were great though, the prices were kind of OK but considering the food quality I wouldn't really recommend. Such a shame! I have tried katsu curry at many places around Glasgow and abroad and this one was very disappointing compared to other experiences. The vegetables were cut into massive chunks (see the pictures), potatoes were undercooked and cold (and possibly not cooked today, did not taste fresh).
The curry sauce was extremely thick, I struggled to get it out of the container it was delivered in, and then I could not mix it with the rice. The sauce should not be this thick. You can see in the photos how thick it was.

Staff are brusque (not I suspect the lower level staff) without even being what one would expect in a Japanese place, which doesn't help when its not cheap and niggles like no under a tenner meals with the reward card, blatant decor mistakes like ridiculously awkward mirrors in front of the bar style seating.
