I really like this bar as received good value for money. My wife and I took my sister in law and brother in law for lunch there and had a good day. The only dissapointing issue I had was that I ordered a bottle of red wine from the wine list which stated it was 13.5% vol but when it was put on the table the bottle stated it was 12.5% vol. ( the bottle was opened but the menu was wrong). I asked if other wines were available at 13.5% and that I would pay any extra in price and the barman said they had no other red wine availabless specifically the dearer one I stated. I then asked a different member of staff what wine was available at 13.5 % vol and she advised that all wines I required was available and she resolved the issue. I must say I was disappointed that this issue occurred in presence of my in laws. Thanks to the barmaid who resolved the issue. Hope the wine list has been updated. Hope to return to...

I’m a student filmmaker who contacted Tennent’s in the off chance they would allow us to film on their premises. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. The staff working there couldn’t have been more accommodating and understanding. Special shout out to supervisors Phil and Martin who I spoke to about filming there. They were super helpful and really left us to our own devices and enabled us to have such a successful shoot. The two girls, Rebecca and Robin, who supervised us were really chilled out and were there to help anytime we asked. The basement was amazing with a fantastic lighting set up allowing you to change the entire mood of the room with the remote. Was in for food and drinks today with a couple pals and everything was brilliant! We had heard a few different opinions of the bar but thought we would give it a go! Food was excellent and the service from the bartender Michelle was different level for a pub!! Usually wouldn’t leave a review but the service was like nothing we had experienced in a boozer before! What made it even better was the chef (Heather) we had the pleasure of meeting too! One of party can be quite awkward and annoying sometimes but nothing was to much to ask for either of the girls! They went above and beyond and were chatty and really gave us the time of day even though they were both busy! Food was great! But the service from Michelle and Heather is the reason we are planning coming back next week!...
