Tinderbox — Restaurant in Scotland

I arrived to the store in byres road to continue working from there, i sat down and starting my laptop, a lady from the staff came and told me that i need to order and i said will do thanks. 3 mins later approached me again and said if I you want to stay i need to order and i said will do then she said “you have been here for 15mins and you need to order otherwise you can leave” i dont appreciate as a customer to be treated like this in front of the other customers. Basically i was asked to leave because i did not order within the first 5 to 10 mins. Will i go there again? definitely NO I WAS DISRESPECTED IN PUBLIC. -Will i recommend Tinderbox? Visited on afternoon of 10th Sept. Hoped to get a nice hot coffee which you can usually rely on in this coffee shop. It was just hot. I asked if it could be heated. Female staff member who didn't seem keen to serve in the first place took my coffee from the guy that I spoke to and added about 2 inches of foam to the top of it. I said 'it's going to be really weak now'. Grumpily the female said she'd make another. I was to take a seat. I heard someone shout but didn't know if it was for me. Then decided to go and look. My coffee which is the one in the photo was just sitting there on the shelf. It tasted like a cup of hot milk. I doubt I will visit this shop again or I will definitely check same female staff member who seemed lazy and unfriendly...

We have been visiting this coffee shop 4 or 5 times per week since it opened. We have enjoyed the atmosphere and usually excellent coffee. Regrettably it has gone downhill in recent months. My main concern is the lack of adequate heating. Along with others I have raised the matter with staff during the recent cold spell and I was told that an electrician was awaited. Today there was only a small portable heater behind the counter. A window has remained broken for months. With little regard for good hygiene cakes are displayed uncovered beside the till.
