Went in for a bit of lunch and coffee with my parents. Had heard good things previous to arriving. First of all I must say the venue is lovely. We got seated straight away which was great for a busy afternoon. But from that moment it all went down hill. We waited 30 minutes to get served, then we finally flagged a staff member down and then got our order taking. When ordering we wanted a focaccia with smoked chicken but were told it wasn’t available but they said they had chicken breast instead, so we ordered that. When it arrived not too long later it turned out to be thin slices of chicken similar to the stuff you get in the supermarket. So nothing spectacular at all for the price. Sent it back as we weren’t trust sliced chicken that looked like it’s came straight from the local Tesco. Quite disappointed but they changed it for us which was good, and we got the mozzarella and tomato focaccia which was lovely so not concerned with that. We had ordered coffees too but they forgot about them and we never got them, so we just asked them to cancel that as we had finished our food, very poor service and id say potentially not worth the price - improvements...

Had to wait 20mins for our order to be taken. A gentleman came in and was served almost immediately while we were still sat waiting. We were seconds away from walking out but were finally served. The service wasn’t great even after the wait.

Ordered soft drinks and a tea. The tea bag came in the packaging so I paid to make my own tea.

Didn’t have to wait too long for food. Very nice presentation.

The sandwiches we ordered came with mayo and coleslaw. There was a tiny dollop of very spicy mayo on the sandwiches and the coleslaw was very dry. I asked for extra mayo and was told they’d ran out. I gathered that instead of telling us they’d ran out of regular mayo they substituted it with spicy mayo without asking us. If we’d been told we would have ordered something else. My mouth actually hurt afterwards because of the spice. And the ‘salad’ consisted of just limp rocket.

We would’ve complained at the time but we just wanted to leave.

Not worth the wait or the price. We were hoping the service would make up for the wait but...

Ordered an Americano with a dash of milk. Was overcharged and, when I queried this, was told abruptly by the blonde woman who served me that because I asked for (a dash of) milk in my Americano "it becomes a latte". 😅 Never experienced anything like this when ordering coffee anywhere else in my life. Furthermore, when paying, she actually verbally quoted the Americano price but rang up the cost of a Latte on the card reader which is a bit odd/sneaky. If I hadn't noticed, albeit after tapping my card, I'd never have known. I contacted the restaurant after my visit and they've not responded so I'm leaving a review about the experience instead. I won't be back. After reading other reviews on here it appears the person who served me (blonde woman) has been mentioned by other customers for less than...

Went in for lunch and got the Bologna (1) focaccia and the pavia (2) sourdough. Everything was made fresh and served warm. The portions were massive, we ended up in a food coma right after 🤧 The focaccia was acc so good I’m even thinking about it rn, I wanted to buy like the whole tray from them 🤭🤭. The mortadella went rlly well with the rocket, this one was my fav. The pavlova one is good as well, they were rlly generous with the mozzarella, the crusts did get tougher the longer you leave it out (which is quite normal for sourdough) so I would say order the focaccia instead. I would def go back again for their focaccia.

Have walked by this deli a few times and I was enticed to try it today. My goodness, what a disappointment. Staff were friendly and advised that they’d stopped serving warm food since it was later in the day so we ordered two filled focaccias. My partner’s Pavia sandwhich cost £8.50 (Roasted turkey, Italian sausage, sliced mozzarella, artichoke cream, fresh basil). The filling left much to be desired and was unappetising. I got the Genova and it was a mush of sun-dried tomato paste and burrata. Just not amazing quality for the price. Have had a better focaccia sandwich from Tesco.

The place is very beautiful and pretty popular. The food is amazing and so fresh! And the prices are fantastic for the massive portions. I have been there quite a few times as the staff are amazing, very friendly and caring!! They will try their best to come up with something on your liking. Caitlin is the waitress who served me every single time I went there and with no doubt she is amazing, and puts heart in her job! She has remembered my order and never has issues with changing stuff on my liking. I 100% recommend this place! And will continue to go back.
