Or even just without demanding. It's a bright coffee shop, with views over the national cycle route of Pacific Drive, within walking distance of Armadillo, SEC Hydro, Frame, Glasgow Science Centr, Premier Inn, Ibrox Stadium, STV and BBC. No dark roast coffee, but the blond is rich enough, and for cal-counters, a black coffee should ring up between zero and five calories. Nice way to avoid pricey wheat and sugar snacks, and try adding nutmeg, cinnamon or pumpkin powder...

There were plenty of options to choose from, and I had a Panini, a cake and a cold drink. The cake was forgotten and I had to remind the staff member than I was due it, but other than that it was quite uneventful. Everyone seemed friendly enough.
The seats at the tables nearest the counter were a little worse for wear, and unfortunately I snagged a brand new pair of (pretty expensive) tights on the seat as there was some rough edges/ splinters of wood. So lesson learned- only sit in if...
Read moreCoffee is the usual Starbucks standard which is perfectly fine. What I do have issues with it the sheer volume at which the music was played made it difficult to hear the server or the person I was there to have a coffee with. Oh and not to forget the staff member that started after we were seated, thankfully, who kept running his hand through his hair while serving food. No washing of the hands in the whole hour we were there AND he seemed to enjoy removing his mask to rub his face for whatever reason. He needs better training or a P45.
Think I will stick to other well established Coffee...
