Really loved the Red Sky Bar at the Raddison Red Hotel. We booked for the Gin Afternoon Tea! It was absolutely delicious...not your usual sandwiches and fillers but beautiful pulled pork bao buns, sticky bbq chicken and waffles, sausage roll and salmon and quinoa as well as candy floss strawberry smoothie and other beautiful little deserts! There was a selection of Gin's as well to choose from for your drink or you could pick a beer. The view is amazing and looks right down the Clyde. The decor is beautiful really quirky modern and stylish. There is a balcony with a big patio heater if you want to go out for a bit of fresh air or a smoke/vape. Overall its a really nice venue. I cant say how much the drinks were as we didn't stay for more but I will definitely be back again. Was a fab experience. 👌

Have just spent over 8 hours here to see my very favorite DJ. Only spent so long as the curfew for entry to the venue was 4pm when the main act didn't come on until 9pm? Seems like a ploy to get you to overspend? Seems that if you're staying in the hotel this does not apply perhaps. The DJ was incredible however the clientele were shocking - I nearly had my phone pickpocketed (lucky I felt it being pulled from my pocket in time). Security in the Sky bar were unpahsed when I told them, however, staff at the main lobby as I exited were highly concerned and apologetic which I appreciated. View from the bar was great and ultimately is a good venue. Just the clientele left me feeling a little shocked today.... was difficult to enjoy the show due to this. Be careful.

My recent visit to the Red Sky Bar in Glasgow was nothing short of spectacular, and that's entirely thanks to the incredible team, particularly the dynamic trio of Shaq, Scott and Sean. While the panoramic views of the city are breathtaking, it's the people on the floor that make the experience truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a genuine warmth that set the tone for the entire evening. Sean, was super friendly made sure we were settled and comfortable, promptly getting our initial drink orders. But the true highlight of the night was Shaq. Shaq is more than a server; he's a true host and his energy was magnetic. Red Sky Bar just gained a new repeat customer.

Booked here for nibbles and drinks for our work Xmas night out attending Culture Club at hydro. We were really looking forward to going and seeing the views as have heard a lot about it. Unfortunately the bar staff working on Fri 13th Dec let the place down massively. There was a very flat feeling at the bar, no team work, waiting on drinks for ages, no eye contact from staff serving others to say be with you in a minute etc, a guy can on shift while waiting but didn’t look like he wanted to be there either, eventually one of us asked if everything was ok, and were told that it’s very stressful working behind the bar as very busy etc, I understand this but there needs to be more organisation. They ran out of Rose wine and wine glasses too, we were sorted at our table a bit earlier than our booking which was good however the table was dirty and needed wiped from previous customers. There was one member of staff on the floor who was very bubbly and offered suggestions from the nibbles menus and was smily and chatty, and another girl behind the bar working quickly and doing the best she could, however the rest of the bar staff were certainly wearing the right Xmas shirts with The Grinch on them as there was no pleasantries or festive cheer, we felt we were an inconvenience at the bar waiting to order drinks. Management need to address this issue as it would put customers off returning, most people at the bar were all saying the same. We understand it’s busy at this time of year, but mangers should be prepared for this and have their staff ready to deal with it. We all have busy jobs too and were looking forward to enjoying our annual night out but it was somewhat spoiled due to...

Fine if you need something and don't want to leave the hotel, else go elsewhere. It is a nice view, and a generally nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the staff seemed overworked and inattentive - I had to flag down the staff after waiting to order for over 10 minutes, and then even then it took another 5 before they took the order. The food took quite some time to arrive, and went it did, it was fine, but nothing special. The staff also didn't position things very comfortably on table as they set things down, and gave us an extra pile of knives and forks on top of our plates (we already had some) which we had to tidy elsewhere to eat. When we came to pay, there was a long queue at the bar, as they were only taking payments in between doing their other service. A member of the staff then said he'd come to our table to pay, as they were changing payment to at the table. Then someone else came to take our payment, and as we were waiting for the lift the first man came back saying we needed to pay before we left, unaware that we'd already paid. Generally a bit of a shambles, but I think they need a lot more staff and better division of the staff...

Disappointed overall. Booked this well in advance when the book looked more or less empty based on availability. Sadly booking early doesn’t get you much as the only seats at the window are for groups of 4 - 6 so if you’re a couple I suggest you just book for 4 people to try and get the view. Couples tables are behind them so you just get a romantic view of larger groups drinking, nice.

After a couple who were at a window table left I did politely ask to move but was told those tables are supposedly reserved for larger groups. However in the hour or so we spent in the bar there was a table by the window empty throughout that time, no reserved sign, and I witnessed two other couples get seated by the windows adjacent to it.

Staff seemed friendly enough, but inconsistent service as described above. It took quite a while to get bar service, can only imagine what it’s like at peak times.

The view, if you get it, is nice and I so wanted to like this place but I would not return or recommend it unless they allowed you to specifically book window tables in advance as the view is the only reason you...
