Popped in here to try the soft tacos and burrito. Tacos were delicious. Small matter of improvement for the chain as a whole would be to offer soft corn tortillas and not just wheat, but this review isn't taking that as part of tbr experience. Food was good and service was quick. Salsa tasted like it was chopped tomatoes poured out of a tin, but everything else including the guac, meat and rice tasted good and fresh.

very cozy mexican café. so, i ordered a king size burrito without noticing their board for burrito challenge winners 😂 their portion is MASSIVE. so for one person regular or even small size is okay 👍 and they have separate discounted burrito options for students as well ✨ just opposite to Pret (Byers Road). and I loved their Mexican lemonade so I will highly recommend that with your burrito ✅ overall.. I liked it🌯

Good quality tacos for a place so far from the Mexican boarder. However, Im not going to remember it as one of the best Mexican feeds I’ve ever had, left still a bit hungry, the atmosphere was a little lacking, and the staff, although friendly enough, seemed a little bit sick of their shift.

I've eaten at all three (now two, RIP) taco mazama locations in the city, and they are consistently wonderful. I love that the king size burrito is made with TWO giant tortillas

I love the combination of rice, beans, salsa and meat. its hard to get this combination at taco bell, and you'd pay more for less

I love how delicious everything is. If i'm passing by any of their branches, i always stop in, taco mazama is my bestie

I have a few suggestions though:

There's a fruity kind of salsa which is only at one of their locations and not at the others, this seems odd, why not have a consistent menu at all of them? Stronger chillies! I'd love to be able to have green finger chillies added instead of jalapenos A hotter salsa. I love the tomato and chipotle, i'd love it more with like a bit more chilli powder in it

I could definitely go for a higher spice level, but still taco mazama is wonderful, reasonably priced, and great quality,...

My friends and I ordered these for delivery online, annoyingly it only told us that it would take 45 mins to arrive AFTER we had ordered and paid (slow for a Thursday night we thought!)

When they (burritos) did arrive they were still hot, thankfully; though the quesadillas had lost crispyness.

They were nice and tasty, and we were impressed at the size of the king burrito, (the same as a 2L bottle of pop).

But one word of caution, despite ordering the mild salsa, the burrito was SPICY!... far more than I would expect having eaten a lot of "british (tex)mexican" food, which we believed was probably down to the guacamole (which we ordered for cooling effect, alas it did the opposite).... so we couldn't eat it all. (this was the case with all 3 different...

food: where do we even start ... the white fluffy string (?) in the rice is so alarming and totally put us off. keep in mind one of us spent £12 odd for this. so rogue would not recommend. and i know this is probably meant to be like this but the black beans in the juice are scary.

service: this was mid. the staff are nice i guess.

atmosphere: the music is fun kinda giving firewater a run for its money but the smell is awful (i know its a taco/burrito/vile potato shop but its a concerning smell).

okay ye done but at least were not gonna spend so much money...
