We came across this gem of a place by accident when out for a walk and doubled back to see what it was like. Purchased 2 sausage rolls, 1 meat and potato pie and 1 steak pie to eat later in the day. What can I say, the sausage roll was quite simply fantastic. Pastry light and fluffy in texture, sausage perfect with just a hint off pepperiness. The pies were amazing. Perfect pastry, including base. The steak filling was very good and a decent amount of gravy was in there to add to the experience. The meat and potato was also top notch, with a mash topping and rich mince underneath. The Bakery really do know their stuff and looking around, we will definitely be back to try more, especially as I noticed they sell Stornoway black pudding sticks!. Possibly the best thing I can say is absolutely nothing needed seasoned, the taste was so good. I'm a chef of nearly 35 years and know when I've had something truly brilliant. So, give yourselves a well deserved congratulations and continue with your amazing...

I find the bakery a little cramped, the space available could be used to better use for customers and most importantly staff. I also find the availability of hot pies I like are pretty slim, and therefore if I ask for a pie I really like it has to be heated via a microwave, why? This bakers is really popular so to find a limited availability of hot pies is frustrating, when, I I stated earlier the space available could be put yo better use. In response to the owners reply to my comment, I fully understand that food is baked in an oven, it was the limited amount of food available in the hot cupboard that was the issue. The issue with spaces comes from my experience in finding myself ordering and trying to collect my order from a small corner of the shop when behind me there is a bar with stools that is totally empty. However as a coach driver I will not now recommend this establishment to my passengers. To the owner to call my experience silly is...

I always say that I judge a business not by the things they do right but how they right their wrongs. Yesterday I ordered 6 sandwiches: 2 coronation chicken, 2 egg mayo and 2 ham and cheese all on ciabatta bread. By mistake I received chicken mayo instead of egg mayo and cheese instead of ham and cheese. I should've checked sooner but I ordered these for a group of people ahead of a road trip. The owner contacted me to offer her apologies and explain what could have happened, without much fuzz and she was very understanding. There are areas of improvement in the customer service and the sandwiches, but they have a good selection of fresh pastries. Besides the sandwiches I also had the pain au chocolat and the croissants which were beautifully baked. The coronation chicken sandwich was very tasty too. Next time I'm in Inverness I'll make sure to visit and try some...

1st morning in Inverness and we wanted to get a few items for the place we are staying. The bakery is just down the street from where we are staying and its wonderful. Coffee, sandwiches along with bread and pastries. Picked up a few items. Scotch pie 🥧 it was amazing. Sausage roll very good. No pictures of the Scotish pie it didn't last long. Lemon tarts, croissants and pan au chocolate all fantastic. Sandwiches looked great. May try the prawn sandwiche before we leave.

Really friendly staff and no queue when we went in around 10:45. The almond croissant was absolutely incredible - probably the best I’ve had so far. The raspberry pastry was good too, but if you had to pick one go for the almond croissant. The breads looked lovely and reasonably priced. We wouldn’t recommend going for the chai tea, it wasn’t very exciting just a standard tea bag so waste of money. I didn’t love the hot chocolate either, felt it should’ve been sweeter.

10/10 definitely have to stop by. We popped in just for a takeaway coffee and pastry. This was one of those bakery’s which just fills you with joy. Prices were so reasonable and you could tell the freshness indigents. A local coffee bean and solid quality as well. Not sure on the sitting in situation. However if you’re looking for a picnic and a coffee this is your stop. “Never tasted a carrot cake that good in my life”
