Went with my wife, sister and brother in law on our first day in Inverness. We stumbled onto this joint as it was fairly near to our Airbnb.
The bartender was quite curt with us. We felt quite unwelcome, probably because we were tourists and the only non white people in the bar.
There was nothing explicit in terms of his behaviour, but all of us felt 'off'.
Some locals came over and got into a conversation with the bartender, who then pointed in our direction and shrugged. Don't know what he said though.
Beer was fine and the music was actually great.
This is clearly a joint for a local and regular clientale. Which is fine, but unsuspecting tourists might walk into this place given...

It was raining and cold when we came out of event, so we thought we'd go inside a nearby bar/pub to, have a couple of drinks then head back to our B&B We only had the one drink though, then made our way home I wasn't so keen on the bar/pub but everybody has their likes and dislikes of places. Read moreA older gentleman with black hair and glasses served us. Horrible man... No customer service traits in his bones. Hopefully an off day but after this won't be back. Horrible to customers, quiet night and miss heard 2 kraken and coke for diet coke, accepted then corrected him and he gave one kraken and coke. Corrected him again then he swore under his breath and he was not happy about anything. Spoke to a tourist really horribly as well during this time. You should not have him at your bar serving...
