First time in a Tinderbox and it will be the last an older gentleman came barging in to the store walking right into my 5year old proceded to just continue to pick up his items and order his coffee the staff raised some eyebrows at this but no one said anything to either him or me. In fact once my husband said to the gent you could have at least said excuse me he laughed and some staff members looked at my partner as if he had done something wrong. While I appreciate its not the staffs fault this man acted in such a way I feel they could have said something i own a shop and I would have expected my staff to say something about such rude behaviour in my store. I have worked in retail and have certainly challenged people with such behaviour when I have witnessed it. Beside all that I ordered a bakewell tart which was inedible unless I wanted to break my teeth , it was so hard Not the vibe for...

We went to the one on Ingram street and it was lovely. Highly recommend!

It’s nice for an independent coffee shop. It had 2 gluten free cake options (strawberry slice or raspberry brownie, both looked nice). My decaf mocha was lovely! But my mums Cappuccino was very basic and she said they could’ve added even some chocolate sprinkles on it for a little something extra - this of course is preference! The strawberry slice was amazing for gluten free - it was just the right taste and textures and it was like summer. So nice to eat! Very refreshing

The place itself is nice, and is good for a quick sit down to have a coffee and cake - especially to support independent cafes! It is definitely better than Starbucks or Costa.

There are no gluten free options for sandwhiches etc… so bare that in mind. Only a few cake choices!

Would go back again, the staff...

It was my favorite cafe in Glasgow for study. But I was shocked that today, when I was busy with my own essay, and felt super tired so I lay down on the table and nap for like 5-10min, then I was called up by the cafe owner and he said " You cannot sleep here it is not a hotel.” in a quite rude way. Of course ppl can't sleep in a cafe like 1 or 2hours, which I totally understand. But when you're studying, you are like so tired and mentally exhausted. I feel like it's so inhuman to not even be allowed to have a little break time. In that is where I feel doubly tired and embarrassed. What's more, if the owner could have expressed himself a little more politely, it might have been more acceptable for me. Anyway, maybe that's the rule of this cafe. I respect it but not for me. Won't be going back. The iced americano was...

Overall a nice place. Several tables with power plugs, great music (so far, alt folk, acoustic.. lovely). Wi-Fi pretty slow at 8 Mbps. Coffee was nice, I didn't try the food but it looked very nice. Piano in the back room. Great location. My biggest objection? Super hot in here. I'll bet it's over 25° c. And the young lady that took my order was completely sullen and wouldn't even respond when I brightly said thank you more than once. Now this could be because my accent betrayed me as American, and I couldn't understand her question about taking in or out. She meant "for here, or to go?" in American parlance, and the Scottish accent is tough for me (though pleasant). But great atmosphere, nice place, I'd return.

Stopped for a quick coffee and cake. The quality of the coffee and pastries are a definite step up from the average Costa or standard high street coffee shop, but nothing particularly exceptional otherwise. The decor and overall vibe of the cafe is very warm and has some cool design ideas. Decent choice of hot and cold drinks and an above average choice of sandwiches, cakes and pastries, I've liked the ones I've tried. The service was unexpectedly slow, but perhaps this was just an off day for it.
