Visited here on a cold wet, snowy Saturday afternoon. Decided to visit the lounge rather than the bar, great decision, prices were reasonable, service was second to none (perhaps at this time of day the lack of customers proved a plus). Would definitely return, we were made to feel at home, the waitress (didn't catch her name) American I think, was first class, friendly, courteous and not being condescending, funny. The atmosphere is old school with a great ambiance and good old homely comfort Service was great, friendly staff and nearly all the food was excellent. The batter on the fish and halloumi was really crispy. Best dish was the sticky chicken fillets which had a lovely tangy taste.
