I was at Xing Fu Tang for lunch today and I love that they have 9.50£ lunch deal when you get a souffle pancake and a boba tea. I got strawberry pistachio souffle pancake and the fluffy cream on top was just amazing. The pancakes themselves unfortunately tasted so much like eggs. I reckon they do not put vanilla extract in their pancake batter which is essential for preventing egg taste in baked goods. Good boba and tea. Lovely staff and interior. The two waitresses were nice and the milk tea tasted ok but too sweet. And the male waiter who spoke Cantonese made me sick. First of all, those long nails (especially the pinky) made me feel unclean. Secondly, he has completely different attitudes when meeting Hong Kong guests and mainland Chinese guests.
