Maloney's Bar & Snug — Restaurant in Sefton

So every time me and my partner visit Southport we always make sure we visit your bar however on this occasion I wish I hadn’t of made the journey to the bar so Saturday afternoon told open at 17:00 staff turned up when they wanted(about 17:05) the bar was not stocked from the night before nothing had been done so at 17:28 staff decided to go and have a cigarette so obviously after 23 minutes of hard they need a cigarette so we eventually got served to then be told they had no vodka the staff looked like they really didn’t want to be there but the free drinks they were helping themselves to made them stay won’t visit...

my wife and i call in for a meal quite often, since its been done up over the past couple of years and work is still ongoing but you really dont notice, anyway we went today had a great meal and as always the staff are great and very helpfull. the food is always good and hot and plentyfull, you dont have to wait very long at all but you do have to allow a little time for them to cook your steak, as for the decor in this area it is a brown gloss, its very clean, the reason for the colour is at night the whole place is converted into a night club and central bar, so you can have the best of both...

Well where do you start the barman didn't want to be there he made it quite obvious he didn't want to serve or interact in anyway with the paying public . Asked him for a G&T to be told go over there it's mainly just beer here . Not a friendly at all and after putting him getting us a drink even though that's his job we were then told cash only not one sign saying this which would be helpful. Dirty dark pub no atmosphere realy odd set up and no customers I wonder why . Plenty of nice pubs in...
