McDonald's — Restaurant in Sefton

Went to McDonalds at around 10:15 on the 19th May. Ordered a Burger Meal and a bacon and BBQ wrap; we had ordered at Koisk but had to take it to the counter as we paid cash. The employee who took the order (I believe he was called Isaac) was a star. He took our, quite challenging, order really well, especially considering how he stated that he had only been there for 4 weeks. We had got table service at the Koisk so expected this service. It was not recieved.

We sat down for 15 mins waiting for food but it did not arrive at our table. Therefore, I went to the collection counter and found that pur food had been left on the side and thus had gone cold. I may also not that our order and order number had not been called out.

In admission, we should have complained about this issue but felt that it would just slow the service down for others. The chips had gone so cold that they got to the hardening stage and the burger was stiff as hell. My partner says his meal was okay except for the same issue with the fries. Drinks were superb.

During our meal, we overhead a customer with 2 children complain to two others about his disatisfaction at waiting times. He seemed particularly disatisfied with how kitchen prioritised drive-thru over dining room, despite the countdown system on screen.

We ordered 2 more deinks as we left which came somewhat faster and both were quite good so this made our visit end on a positive. Especially as the crew member who served was very cheerful and pleasant.

Place was almost a complete mess, every seating option, not occupied when I walked in yesterday evening was covered with rubbish and mess everywhere.

Unfortunately despite the look from the outside, definitely the untidiest branch I've ever been to.

Tried to then charge my phone at the available sources but no success from the wireless pad and almost nothing from the plug socket, poor despite it being a potentially very nice idea.

Then I had no option for table service, not sure why but for myself on this occasion it was an inconvenience as I had planned to make use of that option but wasn't able to.

I then had 2 issues with food quality and accuracy- no sauces given despite paying and them being on my receipt and was given chicken nuggets instead of cheese bites.

I was told some excuse about "new starters" making thm and causing the mix-up.

If they can't know the difference between cheese and chicken, they maybe should work somewhere away from food- they could hospitalise someone with an allergy, this really needs to be imminently addressed and can't be laughed off as a joke.

If there was an offer of discount to use at other branches that would make me feel less upset..seeing as I was an out-of-town visitor and don't live in Southport.

Perhaps lucky, as the customers here seemed to have run riot around the place...

a lot of the staff working here(especially one who goes by the name nikki) is rather rude and disrespectful towards children of the younger generation im my experience nikki enjoys kicking out children for no reason and also calls the police on them causing further issues for the children and wastes the police time all round. She often accuses children of vaping/ doing other suspicious activities when they are not this is a very re occurring issue and every time you enter the restaurant i feel scared and under pressure to meet the unrealistic standards of nikki and to do one wrong thing and get thrown out of the restaurant. Even when i wanted to go in there to charge my phone to contact my family so they know i’m not i’m danger i faced danger when opening the door to your restaurant i kindly explained to nikki that if she would like i would buy something me and even for her if she wanted it but i was then refused to be allowed in and access to food this then lead on to me not getting home till 11:30 at night no food or a phone to message my family. When you enter this mcdonald’s make sure you know what danger ur coming your way especially if you are between the ages of 13 and 17 and have to come in contact with some of these rude staff members thanks for reading hope you can take it in...
