Fagans — Restaurant in Sheffield

Hands down the rudest and cruelest landlord I have ever come across. I am disabled, autistic but high functioning. I have some strange mannerisms (poor eye contact) but I am not disruptive and always polite and kind. I got banned seemingly because my disability; just because I'm not 'normal' and do not make eye contact in the normal way and only feel comfortable talking about my narrow fields of interest. I was a student studying computer science at Sheffield when I came in here. I asked if I could have access to the WiFi. "NOT FOR CUSTOMER USE" I was aggressively told. I returned a few weeks later with a friend. i was told I was banned. I HAD DONE NOTHING WRONG. Now run a successful online casino. I SWEAR one day will buy your pub...

A promise was made that things would not change when the previous custodians sadly retired! IT HAS!

Oh the furniture is the same. But service is poor, a smile is difficult. Before you had a friendly, warm welcome, and conversation. Food has gone, the Guiness is not as good.

The whole feel of the pub has changed! Please do not change this into any other Irish themed pub with Irish shirts and flags hung everywhere ect! It is not!!!! Or make this into a prodominently student pub. It is a pub for all, Sheffield heritage! Please return to how it was or you will loose the customers that made this pub popular for many years. And perhaps the pub will fail!

The only good thing is it now has Credit card payments....

I’ve been going in fagans since around 1985 with my old band mate Patrick Walker we been in this afternoon for st Patrick’s day and I was disappointed beyond words no atmosphere no music and the toilets are absolutely disgusting I’ve never been in there in all my time and been more disappointed! We went to the Grapes before Fagans and it was packed the spirit of the day was absolutely amazing live music and it was absolutely ramed with people where as Fagans was empty and I can see why, I’ve always loved going to Fagans when Tom had it it had th Irish spirit, unfortunately not anymore I’m sorry to say !!
