Perch Brewhouse — Restaurant in Sheffield

We have been to the Perch a few times. Nice drinks but never busy. After tonight I know why. Son in laws 30th birthday tonight and they had booked the Perch and it wasnt cheap. Attitude from the bar staff from the off. The two fellas were good but the girl behind the bar has clearly got issues. She talked to paying customers with no respect and was shouting at us and out of control. At one point the two fellas behind the bar were rolling their eyes at her and shrugging their shoulders as she was mid rant!! A shame really because the bars location means it is never going to be that busy but with staff like the girl tonight the business is only going one way. To the manager/owner who was stood behind the girl while she was on one and was passive throughout, sort it out my friend! People's hard earned money...

===Update=== Stopped by Perch this evening as I needed a great pizza, and boy did they deliver! A perfectly crafted pizza, fresh from the oven with a pint of the finest grapefruit ale know to man. Just perfect.

Original=== Popped to Perch after work to catch up with a colleague; I'd heard burgers were on the menu and I was not disappointed. The cheese and bacon burger was cooked to perfection. I could not fault it.

Rather than being served with the usual chips this came with lettuce. An odd choice I thought and first but then I tried it. Topped with blue cheese sauce and parmesan this is not just any old iceberg. This is without a doubt the only way we should be eating a lettuce wedge!

10/10. Will be back...

AVOID! Particularly for parties!! If you want poor customer service and patronising staff, this is the place for you! Spent well over a grand on food for a 30th birthday party & brought in 50+ paying customers... but we clearly weren't the right clientele for the owners and staff who were rude to us all night. We were constantly spoken down to, and told to keep the noise down while having a sing song as we were "deterring the regulars". Funnily enough we met some of their "regulars" in the next pub along who said we made their night. Once we told them about the service we received, they also won't be returning. What a shame to be let down by poor, condescending...
