I wouldn't give it 1 star. Went yesterday for food. Was about 3 oclock. Not very busy managed to get two tables for 8 of us. So went to the bar to order in couples. Well the staff member that's served us was not trained at all. Didn't know the items on the menu didn't know how to use the till I would say it took 10 minutes to order two meals and a drink. So we waited 40 minutes then the first couples order come out. Bareing in mind we all went to the bar together. Had to wait another 20 minutes then the next order so forth. So as we orders last ours came out about an hour and a half after we had ordered. I asked a member of staff on 4 occasions how long it would be as we wouldn't have stayed if it was goin to be that long as we had to go back to the hotel. So we were left on my birthday on my own as they had all finished their meal before ours came out. So the food absolute disgrace. Everyone's was cold not slightly completely no presentation no offer of sauces or no one came to ask if it was ok as it wasn't plates were left with the food on. Wish I hadn't waited and would have left if hadn't paid upfront. So member of staff finally collected all the 6 plates that had been sitting there and I commented it was awful and not happy to be laughed at and a very unapologetic apology. appalling service. food took two hours to be served. within the first hour nobody came to the table to inform us of what was happening. then staff served meals 1 by 1 which took another hour. was told would be five minutes 55 minutes later food arrived. some of the food was cold. spicy chips were awful covered in too much spice. would order without if was to order. some staff friendly but others avoided table. needed someone to take charge and explain the situation to customers as no communication between staff and customers within first hour. frustrated was an understatment....

Came in for an early drink last Friday evening. Very empty but disco ball and loud music playing. The barman was appalling he couldn't hear what I was ordering, couldn't pour a pint and when I asked about a rose wine he looked over his shoulder and said "no not got none" So I asked for a double vodka diet coke paid and went outside to find the wife. It wasn't vodka it was bacardi but we agreed to drink up and move on somewhere nicer as I couldn't cope with trying to shout my issue with this man. Terrible and won't...
