I was well impressed with this restaurant. I usually eat at F&B..and I really quick understand the differences between food and taste, between restaurants. I know also what is the standard for F&B. Bad service you keep to remember and will not make you a returning customer. This is the only restaurant in a 100 miles radius I never complained or my food was never raw. I also appreciated on my last visit a lady who was cleaning she looked more from management as she didn’t had an uniform, setting a good example in cleaning for her employees and customers by cleaning tables very thoroughly, all the spots covered. Well impressed by that especially as I work with Covid patients and I know how important is to be infectious free. The separation areas they build are important as well. The lady who was cleaning I didn’t manage to see her badge as she is a fast walker but she had a colourful mask 😷, the only one who was actually wearing one and yes I know you can choose if you want to wear them but still for me was important as she was trying to protect others in a close environment with covid roaming around everywhere. I held myself for over 2 weeks to write this review as I was to busy but like I said I will be a returning customer.Kudos to her ! Kudos to all managers who are setting the bar high and lead by example! I eat here roughly every 2 weeks and I’m always very well treated. My favourite restaurant, if 10 stars ⭐️ were to be available, 10 stars from me! From the 3 restaurants that Sheffield has, this is by far the best one! Keep...
Read moreAfter having a number of poor visits at our more local Frankie and Benny branches I was reluctant to visit. However after an evening event at Sheffield arena this was the only place we could get a table.
I can not believe how different it was to our previous visits at our local ones. The staff were all excellent. They were helpful and engaging and attentive.
We struggled to decide what to eat (sorry to the waitress who came 3 times to take our order as we took so long) so ordered multiple dishes to share. All the food was hot and served in good time. Nice crispy french fries. The chicken parmigiana was huge and served with both a good portion of spaghetti and fries. Very tasty and a good coating of breadcrumb with just the right amount of sauce. Really enjoyed the bacon potato skins and sour cream. My daughter had a burger which looked very nice, it totally defeated her though as it was pretty big. I was honestly amazed at the quality of the food and how different this experience was to other branches.
We also had some mocktails. The blueberry crush was amazing. Really refreshing and a nice fizz to it. The prices of the mocktails felt very reasonable, and a good selection on the menu. Perfect for drivers or non drinkers who want something a bit nicer than a soft drink.
A very enjoyable meal and excellent evening.
Still shocked at how different and inconsistent 2 restaurants from the same chain can be. We will certainly be visiting again next time we are in Sheffield.
Well done Frankie and Benny's...

I visited Frankie & Benny’s Sheffield with my autistic daughter. I also have ADHD and dyslexia. I clearly told the staff I have learning difficulties, and we showed our valid Wowcher code to three different waitresses before ordering.
After we ate, the manager told us the code “wasn’t working” and made me pay £56.70 — even though I’d already paid £19.95 for the voucher. He admitted the code hadn’t worked all week, but claimed the staff “wouldn’t have known.” That makes no sense — we arrived at 6pm and told every staff member we were using a voucher. Why let us sit down at all? It felt like a setup.
I told him this was my electric money for when we got home. He saw me scraping through my purse and didn’t care. It completely knocked us off. We were late for our bowling and I couldn’t concentrate at all — the whole night was ruined. We couldn’t even go to the dessert place after, which was part of our special “mum and daughter day” that we do once a month.
This was meant to be something positive for us — instead, I left feeling humiliated, dismissed and heartbroken. I’m a Google Maps contributor and even told staff I was reviewing the visit, but we were treated with zero compassion.
Avoid this place if you’re disabled or neurodivergent. You...
