Honestly I really wanted to like this place. Aesthetically it's very neat, tidy, pristine and even a handy wash station for your grubby mitts. The guy behind the counter was spot on. Really helpful, friendly and couldn't have done more even if he tried. He made us feel super welcome and even made sure we were cool enough (very hot day today). The menu looked promising, so many items to choose from and all sounding delicious. We ordered various things plus two kids meals for our children. When I say the food was below par, I mean it was below, below par. My partners burger looked like it was out of a top food magazine but in reality, it was all style and no substance, completely bland. The fries were cold and soggy, the sweet potato fries were probably the worst fry I've ever had in my life. Potato tots were like little sponges filled woth grease. Chicken wings/boneless were clearly frozen, mass produced trash. They were literally all the same size and shape, mushy with no flavour. Mac n Cheese was like it was out of a tin. Just really, really poor quality which is such a shame for someone that looked like it had so much potential. Their frozen drinks are great though. All in all, if you really like food then I would advise against going here. If you don't give a damn, had too much to drink and maybe had covid so you can't taste anything, then sure why not.

WHAT WE ORDERED: 🧡Seeded brioche bun with beef Angus 4. oz patty with grilled mushrooms and potato tots 🧡Pretzel bun with same patty size as previous and caramelised onions, potato shoestrings, and skin on fries 🧡 Chicken wings with garlic parmesan and some with Thai sweet sesame

🥩They ground the beef in house, the burger was so juicy! It was my first time trying potato shoestrings inside a burger and I highly recommend it! It gives a tasty crunch.

🥔 The potato toes taste a bit like hash browns and they were quite addictive 😂SO GOOD!

🍗The wings were big and crunchy and the chicken was very well seasoned!

💷 Affordable prices. You get very nice quality and portion size for what you pay.

We ordered from PhatBuns tonight, a place we’ve had lots of good quality food from. I’ve never felt the need to leave a review however tonight I feel very inclined to do so. We ordered around £50 worth of food and had some new bits to try off the menu, the sweetcorn ribs, and some chilli cheese bites. However these were missed out from our order when we collected we rang up promptly and spoke on the phone with the store manager who was very polite and helpful he told us that they were very sorry and would come to our house to drop off the missing items, not only did they do this but they gave us some beverages to accompany the missing items. On arrival he was very kind and apologetic for their mistake. Although they made a mistake they was very quick to rectify and make up for it, we are very pleased that this was done and even more pleased with the courtesy drinks. Thank you to the staff and store manager who has gone above and beyond for us tonight, mistakes happen and when it’s busy it’s bound to happen yet the service was stellar and so was the food.
