☀️🍕🎉@rudyspizzasheffield 🎉🍕☀️ 📍Division St. Sheffield

💕I'm so happy about this new pizza joint in Sheffield. A relaxed yet livley atmosphere are met with great food! The 11th branch of Rudy's, a growing indipendent chain that has spiralled out from Manchester, but takes inspiration (and most of their ingredients- even the huge oven) from Naples.

🧀🥓🌿The quality and freshness of the food really stood out to us. Naples style pizzas are joined on the menu by a host of starters , we chose a Campana sharing board with delicious high quality charcuterie and mozzarella, and our friends chose a creamy burrata and a tomato garlic bread delish.

🍕The pizza was honestly the best I've had. I'm normally a person who isn't overly bothered about pizza but I could eat this over and over - this is how pizza should be! The toppings on my Cinghale pizza were spot on for me - can't beat N'duja and I ordered it as a white pizza as I'm not a huge tomato fan. It was so good 😍. And added a creamy burrata which you can do with any of their pizzas! Love it!

I was also especially happy because unusually, their dough is slow proved, meaning it's easier to digest. As someone with a very mild gluten intolerance (always get stomach cramps if I eat pizza) I was so happy that I felt great after eating this- for the first time in years, no cramps! It also makes the crust soft and light with the right amount of chew. So good! The aioli and honey dips also delicious.

I boxed up half my pizza to bring home , making sure we had a little room for dessert 😂😍 🍨We ordered a hazelnut and chocolate ball of ice cream rolled in crunchy bits. It had a gooey chocolate middle and tasted like a Bueno. It was great. My friend ordered a delicious Affogato ☕🍨.

🍹🍺We drank poretti beers and Aperols and were very happy. We suggest you go visit as soon as you can get a table! But you can order on @deliveroo too if you prefer your own sofa.

What a great night thanks so much Rudy's! We will be back soon !

After loving my first experience at Rudy’s and telling everyone I know to go for the deliciosus pizza and fabulous cocktails. I have to say this visit was abismal, first off the service was awful and very disjointed we could barley get our orders taken properly and we were waiting forever for drinks. However, as I have been to this restaurant before I ordered a drink I knew was delicious but when it came it tasted completely different it seemed as if the syrups and purées had ran out as all I could taste was soda water. I asked the server if I could swap my drink for another as I wasn’t happy with the one I received she was more than happy and I ordered something else which was delicious I even ordered it for a second time. But when it came to paying the bill I noticed that the drink I sent back was on the bill I asked the server if it was okay to take it off the total or if that’s not company policy I would happily pay for it , she informed me it was absolutely fine to take the drink off as I had sent it back, unfortunately another server came over after I had already settled up and ask me what was wrong I explained to her that sent my drink back as it was different to what I had before, after my explanation she seemed to be happy but then she walked less than a metre away from the table and started to kick off to other staff members, pulling faces at us and wildly gesturing. It made everyone uncomfortable and alienated us all as I specifically asked if it wasn’t company policy to credit the bill I was happy to pay but she said one thing to our face then proceeded to slag us off as soon as she turned her back to us it was weird and very unprofessional. I have worked in the hospitality industry for 10 years, I think this particular server needs to look up the definition of hospitable as she was the opposite; hostile.

Only redeeming feature the Tiramisu, it...

Food was as always really nice and arrived at the table very quickly before our drinks had which didn’t bother us.

We’d arrived around 5-10 minutes before our booking and were able to be seated straight away which was great and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice.

As we were coming toward the end of eating it felt as though a couple of staff members were hovering over our table, we are fast eaters and this was probably only 10 minutes after the food had arrived at the table. As soon as my partners fork hit the plate staff came and took our plates and we were asked if we wanted any drinks or desert. We declined this as we were still not half way through our first drinks as these had arrived after the meal. Moments after this the same staff remember returned and asked if we wanted the bill which was brought moments later and paid but we were told to take our time and there was no rush. A couple of minutes after this another staff member came and informed us that they needed the table in 10 minutes, I still had quite a bit of my drink left at this point which I quickly finished and we left. This was at around 8.45 and only half an hour since our booking time had started, we were in the restaurant for around 40 minutes total and after our meal really felt like we had been ushered out of the door as quickly as possible which really added a down note to what was a very nice meal. It made us feel like we had had more of a fast food service then a sit down meal. We were very surprised to being asked to leave at 8.45 when our booking had been for 8.15. Especially when there were other groups in the restaurant who had been there before we arrived and left after us. We are big fans or Rudys and it felt a shame not to have a great experience on this evening as we were...

Same Rudy’s Quality! My first experience of Rudy’s was back at their first Liverpool branch and it was fantastic so when I decided to go for some pizza in Sheffield I thought of Rudy’s - Rudy’s Sheffield has been around for a few years already and I finally managed to try it since its opening on this occasion. Firstly, I was greeted by a warm welcome from the waitress and was seated at a table promptly. I visited on a late Saturday afternoon and it wasn’t busy. There are plenty of tables available for different sizes of groups and the waitress was really nice and polite! After me and friend were seated we ordered our food which arrived quickly too. I ordered the Doppia Mozzarella which costs £11.90, which is very reasonable in my opinion. The pizza is a good size for one person and it tasted great, the crust of the pizza was perfectly stone baked, the usual quality you would expect from Rudy’s Pizza! Overall, I had a nice experience at Rudy’s. The food, service and atmosphere were great. I would definitely recommend to those who want to try authentic Italian pizza. I love Rudy’s Pizza!

On a short trip to Sheffield I thought I should track Rudy's down. It had come highly recommended. I now understand why. Arriving for lunch the restaurant was starting to fill up. That said I was given a friendly welcome and choice of any table. Sitting in the window was just right for people watching. I didn't opt for a starter heading straight to the main show, that being the renowned pizza. I chose a Carni (meats) made up of three salame including wild boar and of course chilles. Also a Caprice salad to accompany. All washed down by a lovely cold Italian beer. It was quick to arrive and to say I was satisfied would be an understatement. Great dough, burning on crust, thin and most of all delicious. The salad being much the same fresh, juicy and a perfect addition. It's sometime difficult to perfect such iconic dishes, but Rudy's have done just that. Traditional ingredients, traditional cooking. Amazing. Staff also friendly and attentive. Finished with an affogato which was the final topping to a wonderful lunch. Would highly recommend...don't pass it by.
