RATS and INSANE DRUNKS

Sat in the beer garden on a sunny Sunday. 3 exceptionally common women arguing in the corner. One offends the other two, who leave. The remaining peasant then proceeds to have a conversation with herself. And she voices both sides of the conversation, in different pitches. After 5 minutes of listening to it argue with itself, we are about ready to leave. We turn back around and are shocked to see a rat has joined us on the table. No, not a street drinker, an actual rat. We startle it and it jumps into the shrubbery and then out the other side, with two more rats hot on its heels. We'd been sat less than 3 feet away from rats the entire time.

Service was incredibly slow, and pints had no head. We ordered 10 jägerbombs and the gent serving behind the bar complained saying “they will take me so long to make” without even trying to hide the hatred he had towards making them. And although we are in are currently still in a pandemic, no matter what restrictions are lifted, the what i believe to be the supervisor, refused to give me one mask so I was able to get a taxi home. Said they are not allowed to give away or sell disposable face masks- we even offered to buy the server a drink (around the £4 mark) for the sake of one single disposable mask. Sad to see they are not prepared to help out somebody in need who needed help, and I had earlier lost my mask. Not impressed with the lack of help...

I went for the first time with a friend for lunch. The cappuccino was delicious but the server had spilled quite a bit in the saucer and didn't apologize. I ordered the meaty burger with the beef patty and I'm mostly disappointed with myself for not sending it back. Stale bun, overcooked patty and the onions/gherkins listed where basically three tiny bits lost in the sauce. Not worth it. Originally asked for tap water too but had to ask again. The servers seemd ok but not concerned overmuch with good service; probably overworked/understaffed or without quality control (seldom did I see anyone behind the bar, had to track them down while they were cleaning...
