Probably only worth 4 stars but giving 5 to pull their score up.

I think the food is great overall, good portion size and creative/indulgent ingredients (For fast food).

I had the rosti stack, which is a fried chicken burger with cheese, pulled pork and a hash brown type roasted potato patty. It was honestly really good, I'd reccomend the kitchen run a promotion on it to get it popular as it really mixed things up. The chicken flavour punctured through the potato and cheese beautifully, almost as if they have added chicken stock to the batter or something, and the pork added that extra sweetness.

The fries where very crisp, almost too crisp but I like it that way.

Other portions looked great too, BBQ chicken wings, loads of vegan choices etc.

Main complaint was the nachos, which are great on paper but they arrived quite cold and would be so much better with homemade guacamole/salsa. Still, had much worse elsewhere.

Think the cook who came up with the rosti stack recipie needs a solid promotion.

Beer/Guinness was good too as far as I could tell. Bar staff...

Completely disappointing I have been in here for drinks in an evening and found it to be over priced and poorly run but I have always put that down to it being so busy however today I went in with a friend at 10:30 am to sample their hot drink and cake offer only to find ourselves stood at the coffee bar for 10 minutes as the lady behind it chatted with friends and made just 2 smoothies she then walked away to deliver the smoothies and her friends left l, when she returned she spoke to another colleague we had been standing there for 15 minutes by this point not once did she acknowledge we were standing there waiting to be served and when we made the decision to go elsewhere she still remained silent! There were only a handful of customers in so there was no excuse for this kind of ignorance! Now I have tried it on an evening and day time I will not be returning anytime soon I expect better customer service...

This is a great bar, particularly for students. They have a student card that only costs £3 for the year, it gives you 20% off all day every day, allows you to collect points which translate to money off, and gives you 2 for 1 on (pretty much) all drinks all day every Monday. The card also works at other venues owned by the same people. Even without the card the drinks and food are good value, portions are huge and we were particularly impressed by the wide range of veggie and vegan options. They have a great selection of beers and ciders, and some decent cocktails that are all competitively priced. Atmosphere is great, they show lots of sport and it gets quite busy even on a weekday evening. They do a Monday night quiz which is always great fun. We are here regularly and would...
