I came back to edit after the major change. I've seen a lot of google reviewer leaving great reviews and i don't understand why, either they sell their reviews for money, or they are outright clueless when it comes to good food. I will be as unbiased as i can. I will start saying that I’ve been eating in this location since 2016 when I moved to UK, and I even started a Friday tradition at my workplace. The food, before the change, was great, after the change, not so much. I’ll start with the good. The noodles are the same if not slightly better than they were. Let’s go to the bad. The Charamel Chicken (now caramel drizzle), before the change super flavourful, and you could actually feel the caramelization, after the change, BLAND (I should know, this was my main topping every time). No more crab claw. Neutral. Korean BBQ (now they say it’s K-Pop Chicken). IT’S NOT, don’t get me wrong the taste on the K-POP Chicken is almost great, but you can’t compare it with the previous Korean BBQ. Now let’s talk about the prices. Ok I understand, some money were invested in renovating, ok I understand you need to raise the prices to account for the investment, but why raise the prices and decrease the portions for the same amount of food I’m not paying only 2 pounds extra because of the price increase, I’m paying closer to 3-4 pounds extra because there’s also less food. The current small is so small it has no equivalent under the previous management. The current medium is the same as previous small. The current large is the same as the previous medium. The current extra lager is the same as the previous large. The only difference is they split the weight into more toppings I will not be going back, it’s sad that I lost my longest most favourite eating place, but I can’t support a franchise that rips you off. I will have to check if the old management moved somewhere else, if they did, they will have me as a customer once more. If not, I need to find...

Service was quick, which was nice. Decor was a bit weird, though - like a 50s American diner. Not very clean, either.
Got a medium box for £6, 5 spring rolls for £1 and a Coke Zero can for £1.
Drink was thankfully cold but didn't last long as the place's windows surround the building and are from floor to ceiling. Glare from the sun made it lose a bit of its chill and made sitting in, as I was, a bit hot and uncomfortable.
Food:
Noodles had a good taste but were cold. Caramelised chicken was lovely, and a bit warmer. Sweet and sour chicken was quite good and definitely warm. Spring rolls were okay, a bit small.
Overall food was cheap for the portion I got of my Noodles and toppings.
However, when I went to the bathroom, the one at the back had a door that was quite a struggle to open - inside was a massive bicycle??? Also only a few sheets of toilet paper left and the toilet itself wasn't flushed. Something also smelled a little foul. I just waited for the other one, which was free of bicycles but smaller - which is absolutely fine - and still had a bit of a smell. No toilet paper at all in here, had to ask the staff who gave me a roll.
In summary, my experience was...okay. If you come here, I would probably recommend not sitting in, rather get it to go. Delivery, I've not had so I can't comment on it. Also, don't get too much either, as I found what I had quite filling.
Main positives are the caramel chicken and quick service. Main negatives are the decor, the cleanliness and the somewhat...
Read moreI used to love this place — my wife and I were regulars. It was our go-to spot for tasty, comforting food. But today? I walked in and thought I’d entered a parallel universe. Same location, but the food display looked like it had been swapped out by aliens who’ve never tasted seasoning. I stood outside for two minutes just trying to process what happened. I even asked myself, “Is this still Chopstix or a prank show?” Turns out, the management changed, the prices went up, and the food deals went down — way down. We decided to give it a shot anyway. Two toppings with rice. The staff looked like they were auditioning for a zombie movie — no smiles, no energy, just vibes of regret. I asked for no sauce on my wife’s box, which they managed. But when it came to mine, the guy packed it up without even asking if I wanted sauce. I asked, he shrugged and said, “Box is closed.” I guess sauce is now a luxury item. We saved the food for dinner, hoping it would redeem itself. Nope. It was like eating disappointment with a side of regret. Chicken was hard and tasteless, rice felt like it was cooked during the Stone Age, and the whole meal screamed “£17 wasted.” The place used to be packed — today it was emptier than my enthusiasm. Now I know why. If you’re thinking of going, do yourself a favour: don’t. Chopstix has officially chopped...
