Herbs & Spice — Restaurant in Slough

This is an honest review.... I was optimistic about this place when I made this order. Thinking it's giving 40% off £25, called the restaurant to double check they are halal and seemed friendly and helpful at the time. I also called again after making my order to let them know that to make it fresh and it is my first order with them. At the time they seemed friendly. However after making my order at 18:45 It turned to 20:05. Called the restaurant 3x since I made the order, during the last two calls I was asking where the food is and why it's taking so long. The staff member apologised about the delay and said it will be 5 minutes more. Another 15 mins later, my wife called on the 5th call and complained but the said the driver is finding the address and then wife goes it doesn't take 20minutes to find address. They said they will call back with an update. A few moments after the delivery arrived.

I did complain to the driver and he said he left the restaurant long after the receptionist said the driver is on his way. So they lied to me on the phone saying they are on there way.

Food review: If you want desert for a main order paneer tikka masala, it was over dosed with sugar and was sickening. The naga curry was extremely hot and the lamb palak had only a few strands of palak.

I'm sorry but this is my first and last with herbs and spices. Also my network of people will recieve this honest review of herbs and spice. Not looking good for you...

For anyone staying at the Holiday Inn Heathrow Terminal 5 -- EAT HERE. My husband and I got in at 10pm for an overnight stay before our flight back to the US the next day, ordered this via Uber Eats and were blown away. And let me just say that his review was 100x better than this one but I don't think it was approved by Google for a few solidarity reasons. (In any case, let's just say we agree with our driver's political sentiment.) Now, we're lucky enough to have access to excellent Indian food back home in Los Angeles, and were a tad disappointed by Dishoom to be honest, and are fairly tough critics when it comes to really raving about a meal. But this meal right here? chef's kiss Absolutely killer food, and so reasonably priced. I even had some leftovers for breakfast the next day from our mini fridge. The stuff of DREAMS, I'm telling you. We ordered the chicken madras, saag paneer, and chicken roshni. The madras and roshni are rare dishes for us back home, and oh my god were they good. Spicy, warm, packed with flavor. Portions generous. The chunks of meat and paneer were hefty -- I'm literally sad I'm not back in that mediocre hotel room hovered over the desk shoveling this food into my face. Thanks guys, you...

I've collected food from this place twice and would recommend it for anyone who likes Indian cuisine. I order the "Party 2" meal deal, which is great value for money and includes popadoms, 2 starters, 2 curries, rice and a naan.

The food is delicious. Curries have generous portions of meat and vegetables, in rich and spicy sauces. Naan breads are tasty. Kebabs and tikkas are cooked to perfection. The staff are extremely helpful and take good care of customers.

My only clarification is that this is largely a food delivery and takeaway outlet, so don't expect a restaurant-style settings. However, for those looking to have tasty Indian food delivered or to pick up a flavorful takaway, I can recommend...
