Me and my wife visited the restaurant on 1st of April at aftaari time to dine in The lady at the reception was rude, inconsiderate and had no consideration of how far we had to travel to get to the restaurant. She was not willing to give us a place to sit as according to her the restaurant was full and wasnt going to get free in atleast 2 hours or so. Me and my wife were two people there and there was no one waiting bus us two and most of the tables had been served so this logic that no table is going to be free to adjust 2 people not for aftaari but for normal dinner is not accurate. Secondly I was fasting and the lady didnt even bother to ask if I was fasting or had opened fast, whilst she had. She kept on pushing us to order a takeaway. We left the restaurant and didnt go back.
Very discourteous apphauling disgusting experience with this restaurant. Definitely not recommending this restaurant and A BIG ZERO on customer service. Never going or ordering from this restaurant again
AND HERE IS MY RESPONSE TO THE OWNER's COMMENTS BELOW
"Hi Danyaal, we love to hear from our customers and take their feedback very seriously. On this occasion I think it is not justified to critique our staff. During Ramadan, our restaurant was fully packed and we had to cater all our customers you have reserved their table and came 30 mins before iftar. As our staff mentioned that we didn’t have any table available and she gave you the estimate based on our experience. We served iftar every day and know exactly what the estimated time would be. We didn’t have to make any false promises or give you false hopes."
So despite all that Respected Owner, is it not morally and religiously basic human care that in the month of Ramadan when fast is about to open, you offer the customer or whoever is there at your counter a date and water to open fast. Your staff and lady did not bother to do that, and opened her fast and offered food and water to open fast to her team only. Regarding the booking no restaurant in the world has people who are eating food be seated for the time period you have stated. We were only two people and if your customer services were good you would have adjusted us, which you didn't. Stop justifying a protecting your unsupportive staff and work on hiring people who treat customers...

If you’re searching for a restaurant that prioritises food above all else, look no further than this gem on the high street. This establishment is a haven for meat lovers, particularly known for its exceptional grilled platters that cater to various group sizes.
The highlight of the menu is undoubtedly the grilled platters. Each selection is cooked to perfection, boasting a depth of flavour that keeps you coming back for more. Whether you’re dining solo or with a group, there’s a platter tailored to your needs, ensuring everyone leaves satisfied. The accompanying rice is delightful, providing a perfect base for the succulent meats, while the basic salad adds a refreshing touch, although it’s not the main attraction here.
One of the most appealing aspects of this restaurant is the reasonable pricing. Given the generous portion sizes, you’ll find that the cost is quite fair, making it an excellent choice for families or groups looking for a hearty meal without breaking the bank.
While the staff may not be the most overtly friendly, they are efficient and get the job done without unnecessary fuss. This straightforward service style fits well with the restaurant’s focus on food. Additionally, the restaurant provides a dedicated space for prayer, complete with prayer mats, which is a thoughtful touch that adds to the overall experience.
Situated on the high street, the restaurant does face some challenges with parking. However, there are a few nearby car parks that make it manageable for those willing to walk a short distance. The atmosphere inside is adequate, with tables and booths that provide a comfortable dining experience, though it may not be the most vibrant setting.
In summary, this restaurant is a reliable choice for anyone who values delicious grilled meats, reasonable prices, and the convenience of a prayer space. It’s the combination of these factors that keeps me returning time and time again. If you’re in the mood for a satisfying meal, this place should definitely be...

We have a lot of experience eating curries in Asia, North America and Europe, and yet when we tasted the lamb curry with afghan naan, we knew that no curry we have eaten could come close to this. The chicken biryani they served was almost as good, and so was the chicken Jalfrezi combined with pallow rice.
Whether it be Sri Lankan, Pakistani, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, nothing beats Zaitoon.
It's too bad I don't live in Europe or I would come here every day. Please note that Zaitoon is located in the most sketchy part of Slough, about 10min bus ride from Heathrow, and you will be walking past boarded up shopping malls, garbage on the streets, and lots of young men loitering around looking at you menacingly (For you North Americans kinda like Detroit), but the food is so good you have to go. Just make sure you finish and leave the area before dark.
My family and I got diarrhea that night, but after emptying our colons we just opened up the takeout boxes and continued eating.
Also when I said "cheated", what I meant was that the waiters/waitresses clearly knew we ordered too much because we didn't know portion sizes (we ordered approx 5kg of food for 3 people, e.g. they didn't tell us a side of naan is approx 2ft x 1ft or 65cm x 30cm), but they said nothing to warn us. But after digging into the first bite it was so good we had no regrets. We packed it up and took it on a plane to Switzerland because we couldn't bear to leave it in England.
Pro tip, any clothes you are wearing while in Zaitoon, need to be washed ASAP or you will walk around for 2-3 days...
