After so many businesses were closed for the Dartmouth Music Festival we came across this gem. Firstly I wanted to congratulate the duo running it on demand with a cool, attentive and friendly manner. While customers kept coming, they stayed open. Customers were trickling in of all ages and group sizes and they took it in their stride. The menu is varied, great drink selection and fast service. Clean, tidy and tasty. Well done 👏

The atmosphere is very nice and homey, likely because it’s run and served by the owners. The food portions are decent, which is important to me 😉, and even more importantly, it tastes fantastic. We ordered a burrito bowl and chili con carne, and I can recommend both dishes. We also tried a local cider, which was delightful! We give it five stars!

Went here for lunch with my grandparents who don't speak english. Waitress was very patient with them whilst ordering which was lovely, and service was fast. Food was uncomplicated but good, jumbo fish finger sandwhich especially good. We had food with a drink and was £10-15 per person, very good for the area.

Stopped off here first a cream tea. Was hoping for a good one with it prominently advertised but before ordering we asked if the scones were homemade. We were told they aren’t made on site but are made especially for them. I checked ‘not like shop brought ones then?’ She said ‘No!’ Well the scone was small, and homogenous in size - and looked and tasted exactly like a shop bought scone. It was served warm (probably to freshen it up). There was absolutely no way that was a home made fresh scone. I felt rather cheated. I’m a keen baker and scones are a specialty, so I know a good home made scone and this definitely wasn’t it. To add insult to injury when the bill came thru charged us 50p extra for requesting skimmed milk in our coffees! I have never had anywhere charge extra for skimmed milk! Also the ‘cream tea’ was advertised with any hot drink of your choice for £7.50, but obviously not if you want skimmed milk! Such a pity as I was so looking forward to a delicious Devon cream tea. Although I’ve discovered the cafe at Dartmouth Castle serves amazing scones and they ARE home made...

Stopped there for a bite yesterday while exploring Dartmouth. Nice, clean atmosphere, menu looked inviting, a small, but nice selection of beers and teas and coffees. The main courses are said to be homemade, which I believe, but I can't serve judgement on those, as I went for the BBQ chicken and cheese panino and my wife and her mother had the crab sandwich. Everything was very tasty (I was naughty and ordered the cheesy fries with my dish). Service was swift and friendly. Will definitely eat there again when we return to Dartmouth. Plus, it is not too...

Came across this great little cafe whilst walking about dartmouth on Easter Sunday. Surprised to find it opened until 7pm. Had a fantastic jacket potato with cheese and side salad followed by a very generous, delicious helping of raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake. Would highly recommend a visit, big menu, breakfast served all day and prices very reasonable. Loved the decor too. Business only been there 2 years and it deserves to do well. I hope it stays for the foreseeable future. Will...
