Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in South Ribble

I’ve bought pizza from this establishment several times before and it’s been fine. One of the times I ordered from this place before I had a “”small”” issue where I was given a non vegan item as a vegan but as we collected it the staff apologized and corrected the mistake quickly for us.

This time (Saturday night) I’ve ordered through the website for delivery. 20 minutes after ordering the update says my pizza has been delivered but I’m still empty handed. Call the shop a few times and the line is not even ringing, I press “I haven’t received my order” on the site and I’m told to ring if it doesn’t show up in 5 minutes, which it doesn’t so I end up calling the shop 10 times, with absolutely no luck.

30 minutes after my pizza has been “delivered” the driver actually shows up saying “yeah, phone lines are down and the website just does that” when asked why this had happened.

I’m not spending £40 in two pizzas just to sit and wonder if it will or will not show up, if they’ll give it to someone else or if they’ll even pick up the phone.

It’s just not good enough for such company.

Update: I ordered the Vegan Nuggets and Potato Tots Combo. I got vegan nuggets and no potato tots, but chicken nuggets as well. Absolute joke. Never ordering from this...

Ordered at 6:45PM on Saturday, order was marked as Completed and to 'Enjoy' my pizza at 7:45PM. Thought I'd just give it an extra half an hour incase it was a pre-emptive button press and the delivery driver hadn't set off yet, but no, they'd just marked it as completed and forgot all about me.

My partner was passing by the store on her way home and when I asked her to go in and query, she found out that my pizza hadn't even been put in the oven yet. Almost two hours after I'd ordered. She then had to wait an additional 20 minutes while they decided to actually make my food.

Now I know what you're thinking - why didn't I just call the store? I did. Twenty times. And that's a full dialling tone each time. I even tried calling the store while my partner was there just to see what was happening with the phone. The answer? Nothing. They just let it ring each and every time.

Do not order from this store as I can promise you it will not be worth your time. If something is wrong with your order and you don't live nearby, you will have absolutely zero chance of reaching a resolution as they do not pick up their...

Terrible service. We live half a mile from the store but the pizzas were stone cold when they arrived. The delivery driver didn't deliver the dips we paid for so I went out to ask him for them and he said they must have come out of the pizza boxes but were scattered around in his boot... not very hygienic!

We all had a piece of pizza each and they were stone cold so I called up and was told we couldnt have new pizzas as we'd eaten more than 2 slices (there are 6 of us so of course we'd had a slice each)

Finally he agreed to send new pizzas out but said it "won't be less than an hour". They then never bothered to send the new pizzas to add insult to injury.

Overall the manager was very rude, the delivery driver was no hygienic and the pizzas were very unsatisfying.
