Kaspa's St. Helens — Restaurant in St Helens

We visited your site in St Helen’s on Saturday 23rd November, around 4pm to celebrate my friends sons birthday, we placed Milkshakes/ Bubble drink orders for 2 Adults and 5 Children. When they came, the bubbles weren’t in 2 drinks that were ordered. I alerted a worker that these were incorrect and he said he would replace them. Within minutes, a gang of lads came running in from the toilets and from outside (obviously planned) attempting to rob and attack the staff with a knife, they were seemingly targeting one particular member of staff. They were smashing items aggressively and shouting/ swearing bouncing around. It was myself and my friend who rang 999 as our children were at risk, the gang weren’t listening to any staff so my friend bravely intervened whilst being on the phone to 999 to try and get them to leave. She made more of an impact on the gang to get them out, this included her being threatened to ‘get stabbed up’ by one of them. Following the police arriving, numerous vans etc, the kids were absolutely terrified and severely shaken up, this has most definitely traumatised them. As a result we chased up the drinks with the bubbles in twice before we received the order. Being adults we accept that this was an incident beyond your control, however I feel it would of been compassionate of yourselves to reach out personally considering the outcome that could have been. I am greeted with a very warm welcome each time I come to Kaspas the Store manager rob was so helpful with Dietry requirements offering lots of advice by going through the menue with all the gluten free options which surprisingly has a large variety I found Rob was really helpful and patient he took his time until we found just what we was looking for thank you Rob! . Staff are really friendly and helpful going above and beyonde to help in any way they possibly can. The menus have recently changed in the past couple of weeks offering more of a variey. They have now introduced 2 menus one for food and one for drinks and the sundays / waffles / crepes now show you a picture as well as a description of the ingredients you will receive on your order I find the new menues are so much better and have a better lay out. And the food allways arrives exactly like the pictures in the menues. The new iced coffee range is a great new addition too. I also orderd the new fudge brownie stack that has been recently introduced I would deffonately reccomend as it tastes even better than it looks. The wait time is a respectable time, staff are very attentive. Food allways arrives within the time recommendation given.

The moral in Kaspas is great ,nice food, lovely staff and most of all lovely atmosphere. Deffonately recommended for everybody weather it's a cake and coffee with a friend or a family treat or a little date night there is something there for everyone including the party...

Fuming! Was first time in Kaspas for my girls birthday! Six people ordered food! One crepe and the rest waffels with chocolate and ice cream! Only one person finished food - the crepe! All the others couldnt finish their waffels because they were sinking in chocolate sause (not lightly sprincled like on the menu picture)! It was extremly sweet and impossible to finish the food. Few fruit flyes were flying around and one sunk in my girls ice cream! I tryed to complain but manager ( or why ever he were) replied that they Sorry for Ice Cream but cant do anything about desert....thats what their customers Like! So! Five people opinion that wasted money for food they couldnt eat and got really dissapointed that staff wouldnt make it up in any way! Could also mention that toilets were absolutelly discusting! Piles of wet toilet paper in a sink and urine staines not only on toilet seat but on flushing tank and dangerously wet flour! Menus stick to the fingers as they not wiped after previous customers spill their "sweets" on them.
